Hypothetical Indian Cabinet

Ok, Indians on this forum, if you were allowed to pick and choose a cabinet of ministers to govern, across party lines, what would it look like? My current list is this (without portfolios):

(Non Indians can also comment, but not with comments like "Yogi forever". We already get that)

1. Capt. Amarinder Singh
2. Nitin Gadkari
3. Piyush Goel
4. Asad Owaisi
5. Arvind Kejriwal
6. Manish Sisodia
7. Yogendra Yadav (not sure if he is active in politics or not)
8. Shashi Tharoor
9. S. Jaishankar

Please add portfolios too because I am too lazy too do it. Also missing some easterners and women on the list. Please suggest

There is no purpose to this thread. Ok there is, a little bit. One is to validate whether we hate parties or individuals. Second is to put your money where your mouth is. We all hate some or the other party, so whom do we really want to see in power?

I thought about including Nirmala Sitharaman in the list, but her tenure has been rather uninspiring. Yes she got the short end of the stick because of Covid, but even otherwise.

On 2nd thoughts I will include her in the cabinet. She looks strict and no nonsense types. Indian babus are scared of such bosses and perform well under them.

Come on Indians! Why is there no action happening on this thread of utmost importance ! I intend to select a prime minister after this discussion is over

No, not gold standard. But limiting to 2 terms is good. We Indians like change of flavour every now and then.

I like Ajai Shukla as well but don't know where he can fit in.

I am thinking of Capt. Amarinder Singh as PM, except that age is not on his side. He is a tough, no nonsense guy who has everyone's respect.

Amarinder Singh is 79, too old, no charisma.

Modi can talk, he can talk 24 hours without interruption.

We want people who shut up and do the job. No motormouths. As I said, Capt. is too old, maybe good for President with some additional powers.

Besides Modi can't talk much. That is an image propagated by IT cell. He is awkward and not eloquent at all. And doesn't comment on important issues.

I accept only numbers 5, 6 and 7. The others are either mindless Pakistan haters or irrationals or insurance salesmen.

In addition I propose Shehla Rashid, Jignesh Mevani, Chandrashekhar Azad, Akhilesh Yadav, Umar Khalid, Kanhaiya Kumar, Rahul, Priyanka and other such rational or reasonably sensible people. Distribute them among the should-be-set-up General People's Congress ( a true national level people's parliament ), Foreign Relations Committee, Socio-economics and Welfare Committee, Defence Committee, Society Guidance Committee and other committees at national level. Below the GPC will be district level Regional People's Congress and neighborhood level Basic People's Congress. If such a true democracy / direct democracy system is not set up there is no point in imagining your exercise. For reference this post of mine and follow the links too.
