India needs a forced sterilization program, too many people, too few opportunities. It's a perfect petridish for disreputable people tired of going nowhere in their life to engage in activities like this.

Agreed. And I will go further. Like Russia, India too needs a surplus of females. There has to be no male birth in India for the next 20 years at least. And what to do with the ( many ) disreputable current male population ? Perhaps redirect their energies into working in scientifically-arranged employment opportunities like Vertical Farms and general Urban Farms operating along collective farming fashion in newly created townships in current rural landscape. The construction of these many townships and then the continued subsequent scientific employment will change their behavior hopefully.

For the stubbornly criminal-minded males there should be mining colonies in Afghanistan and some in ecosystem-balanced places in India. And maybe Ladakh and Antarctica are also good places to discipline people. Such places.

And who needs a 27-storey "house" for a family of four ? And they employing 600 workers and having 168 cars ?

The police in some cases may act against such criminals but probably it doesn't occur to the central government that these are crimes and that it should enact strict rules for this emergency and even after this time.

As example, in Delhi the central government is continuing even now the Central Vista problem which is a close to two billion dollars project which includes a new home for the Prime Minister. India is burning but the government doesn't feel the heat and smell and is busy building a new emperor's home instead of redirecting those resources to tackle COVID.

Another example. In Bangalore city in the South in a state ruled by the BJP some BJP leaders barged into the office of the city council and demanded why out of 205 newly inducted workers in the city's COVID logistics center 17 were Muslims. As if employing Muslims is a crime. These BJP leaders had headlined their list of the Muslims as "Terrorists who want to kill thousands of Bengalurians". This is the attitude of many of the BJP workers and leaders.

BJP should discard its unscientific, right-wing, ultranationalist, capitalist, non-harmonious, hate mongering and shameless ways.

My sentiment exactly, it seems hypocritical for me to say it sitting here in Canada but I advocate the same for the idiots here flouting health orders.

It's not that India needs more females but a culture of respect for the opposite sex needs to be nurtured. It is very two faced for these roadside aashiqs to tease and harass women but any of the same treatment their mums/sisters get turns them into a overprotective thekedaar. Similarly mums need to be encouraged to teach their daughters that they deserve the same respect that their males do.

As far as offenders go a tier/repeat offense system is the need for both male and female offenders. Also since Indian culture is all about the izzat of the family and all that bull, I feel a social credit system like china has would be the best (although that is probably the only thing I would suggest borrowing from them along with their strict justice system).

Finally, for the worst offenders the best way to handle it is to use everything they have to offer (yes its shades of Nazi Germany with the Jews/Romanis/etc, but at the level at which they are, morality should be the least of the concerns); put them to work mining thorium for the fast breeder reactors, have them clean up the beaches, or reactivate Kaalapaani and use them for medical research far away from the mainland.
