It was a decision taken by parliament with ALL stakeholders incl. opposition taken into confidence. That decision is final.

They can be upset with the decision, we dont always have to agree or disagree on everything. If they are upset then so be it. Doesnt change much. They have their own armed forces and this is their fight - not ours.

Our militaries have good cooperation but when they not only ask us to devote our own resources to fight their war but they request "Sunni only soldiers" it puts a bad taste in our mouthes. Our military is a celebrated institution and a UNITING force not a dividing force. The Saudi requests were ridiculous and irrational, dont take our national interest into account at all.

Yemen is to Saudi what Afghanistan is to Pakistan. They have legit security concerns but that is between them, the GCC, the Iranians and Yemen itself.
