How to deal with Facebook Indian staffs ?

A large number of Indians work in Facebook who have access to sensitive user data. It will be naive to believe that some of them are not working with the Indian government by targeted spying and selective moderation. Their targets range from Indian domestic dissidents to anti-India activists. Facebook itself also works with various government agencies all over the world due to business interests. It creates serious threats to the safety of the Facebook users. The question is how to mitigate this asymmetrical threat for the users so that they don't get arrested, silenced or even worse — become victims of enforced disappearance. Make no mistake as this is a clear and present danger for a lot of people.
I don't have a Facebook account myself. This post is meant for people who regularly use Facebook for whatever reason. Keep it in mind that Facebook is also a propaganda tool which can be used for upholding Pakistan interests and countering anti-Pakistan disinformation campaigns.

Cannot agree more, I haven't used facebook since last 3 years and I am just doing fine. I personally think that Facebook is just a modern version of Yahoo Messenger but on steroids. It will eventually meet the fate of Yahoo Messenger.

Not using Facebook just because of few biased indians is not correct - thats like shooting in the foot - it is an american product and america was an ally of pakistan. Also not correct to speculate indians are censoring content. Just take things one by one.

Frankly, FB is such a crappy site. Tell me one actual use FB has other than useless crappy prank videos and tiktoks. If you wanna know life updates of your friends and family, I'm sure most of em are on Instagram these days where you don't have to deal with all the excess BS that FB has and simply resort seeing pictures of people who matter

Regarding global issues and current events, just select a few news sources which seem credible and that'll suffice

I tried to make an account on facebook only last year, my first attempt at it for some work purpose i thought, it didn't accept my email address, said i was banned for something against the rules i did .

Large numbers of Indians don't just work for Facebook but for Oracle, Google, Intel, Apple etc. They are preferred because they are servile and work like robots and just do as they are told.

Silicon Valley is composed entirely of transplants either from other USA states or foreign countries. There is no dominating demographic in Silicon Valley except for the tech nerd demographic. Cupertino, California where I live is 63.3% Asian but only 22.6% Indian (28.1% Chinese).
