While TOR is great I'd like to remind everybody that this is a US DARPA funded project and we all know how the NSA, CIA, and FBI have created companies in the past that offer hardware/software to people who had things to hide to lull them into a false sense of security.

Yeah I had actually heard the same thing but was not 100% sure if I was remembering correctly.

Remember the best way to nab people is to make some software so cheap (as in free) that nobody has a monetary incentive to go and create a competitor. The software becomes widespread and ingrained until the real truth comes out decades later.

I agree with your assessment. About 10 years ago when someone told me about TOR not only I got suspicious on finding it an American military project but also because the installation file for Linux ( I think ) was 25+ MB where I think a lot of the code and data in the program will be used to obfuscate the program's routing of user data through American intelligence servers.

The YouTube will automatic block anti western comment and while any insult against China or Russia can publish with ease on YouTube comment.

Comments maybe but for now at least YT retains speeches by Che Guevara, Muammar Gaddafi, jamal Abdul Nasser, Hafiz al Assad etc, those people who stood against NATO oppression and fought against NATO's proxies. But who knows when they will be removed.
