How the fear of PAF caused Indian Gnat to crash

problem with these pictures is that they contradict the stories of awesomeness being taught by Bollywood and its affiliate media to the Indian public.

Yes, we should try to make stories like how a single F16s without no BVR scared the shit of Su.30's and how a gnat crash landed seeing an imaginary enemy or have an imaginary friend in ISPR who tells bravery of Pakistanis boys!!

Sitting behind a screen, you seem all too well enlightened to judge others, without any substance to counter or contradict all...... i guess the Indian side of story is complete.

Sitting behind the screen, you are able to make up stories with out any substantiated evidence, then why whining about other people judging you.. Do you have any credible evidence that Gnat crash landed because of fear of PAF? Did you have any evidence when you said that F16s managed to scare Su 30s off Pakistan skies? You seems to have a knack of telling lies through the teeth and when people start questioning your claims, starts whining about attacking you in pack etc etc.. Its the same story happening here too..

i see he has collected his many Indian freinds to gang up on Windy

here is the topic:
WE DIDNT SAY THAT WE WON 1971
WE DIDNT SAY THAT OUR AIR FORCE BEAT THE SH*T OUT OF THE IAF
HE JUST SAID THAT A GNAT CRASHED DURING THE WAR, OUT OF FEAR AND MISCALCULATION OF A NON EXISTENT PAKISTANI AERIAL ATTACK
why can you not digest this one event? we had our own glorious moments in the 71 war, so no need to get butthurt when we remember them

One Gnat jet crashed..Jets crash even during peace time exercises, let alone war.. what's the point here ? Shall I go on creating thread for each and every aircraft that IAF has downed ? Seems like a drowning man clutching straws..

One of the glorious moment of PAF history was they managed to sunk their own frigate PNS Zulfiqar!!

yea totally agree

and this IAF jet just shot itself
out of compassion

I don't understand why people like you, who have honourably served in the uniformed forces, need to resort to these silly internet battles and ego clashes that people like @Windjammer do, to make himself feel good.

If that picture is of a jaguar, India officially stated that the crash was due to engine failure, but Pakistan insists that it was a SAM strike. (And a helo was lost to SAM fire, as admitted by both sides.) Either way, the fact remains that the PAF was MIA - the vaunted Pakistan air force did not dare to support their country's ground forces in any capacity. The IAF merrily pounded your troops and destroyed their supply lines, and what did the PAF do? Nothing, nada, zilch.

That much is a fact, and that is all that we are trying to say when people like windy come here to propogate that myth about PAF being magically superior to IAF, although the latter has more money, more flying hours, cross trains with more diverse forces, has much superior equipment (now), and so on. This is the same old myth of "1 mard-e-momin Pakistani is better than 10 kafir Indian soldiers", repackaged in the air force version.

In 1971, the PAF did nothing in the east and therefore lost the east, and didn't do anything in the west that could change the tide of war. Individual battles or killings happened on both sides. How would Pakistanis feel, if we named one particular soldier who died in the war, and gave the title "Pakistan armyman dies due to fear of the Indian army"?

problem with these pictures is they make many Pakistanis gloat about them while forgetting the bigger picture.. Its war..wouldn't there be casualties ? The final outcome matters..

The tragedy is our Lollywood is not so advance, as much as it causes inflammatory rectum to our neighbors, we are forced to rely on authentic still images. Shame on lollywood.

Authentic still images ? I remember one where Niazi is signing a document..

My posts aren't meant for the internet warriors likes of you or @janon, neither anyone else with indigestion problems.
There are a number of people here with connections and military knowledge specially in the Admins.
Many threads and posts get deleted due to lack of credible authenticity, no doubt they would do the same with mines if they considered them far from the truth. You Indians post all over the forum with reference to some Prem, Pretty or Patil but it's all good since it lifts your tail. But anything that exposes the Indians, then the pack is out in force running around like headless Chickens,

Authentic still images ? I remember one where Niazi is signing a document..
I also have one of an invitation to celebrate victory in Lahore Gymkhana.

Niazi signing the document of surrender and Indians denied celebration in lahore Gymkhana is equal?

What sort of gibberish you come up with? Now I feel like laughing at your mental bankruptcy.

Carry on dude......

Shows your incompetency, ever heard of the term friendly fire which despite all it's hi-tech gadgets, USAF is never far from...... these incidents do occur in the heat of battle, in fact the very first casualty of the 1971 war was a saffron on saffron with the MiG leader shooting down his No-2 mistaking him for a Mirage.... besides the PNS did take hits but didn't sink, however i can give you examples where your super duper armed forces have managed to have their glory even in peace time.

Oh, I thought PAF was far better than USAF, which got enemy aircraft crashed when hearing the name of it? Now that you genius understand that mistakes can happen in a war, do not gloat over it like your airforce is responsible for it.. Then again, I am willing to bet on the fact that, you will start another thread with in 3-4 months on the same topic..

As opposed to yourself who is a real warrior? Dude, the fiercest battle you have fought (and lost) in your life was on PDF. You are the archetypical example of "internet warrior". You have not served in the armed forces, and are as much an internet warrior as the ones you disparage.

The difference being that unlike you, most people here don't make up imaginary bed time fairy tales like you do.

Tufail's a good writer but what's linked in OP is classic example of 'reverse hypothesis'. Observe an event and restrictively take claim for it. It's just conjecture and a lot of claims are made in the fog of war.

Tomorrow I may claim as follows, please read carefully:

On August 17 1988, three Indian Jaguars were patrolling between Gharsana and Padampur in India on the western border with Pakistan, when at 3:47 PM the group was informed by ATC Sri Ganganagar that a previously identified key military plane was taking off from the military air base outside of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.

On receipt of this information the team leader, Sri Madan Mohan Malviya, who knew that Pakistani traffic could eavesdrop on Indian communications on certain frequencies, decided to create a mock attack sequence 'aimed' at the Pakistani VIP carrier.

The following is the recorded conversation between the Indian pilot and ground control, and also Pakistan ATC:

Pilot (3:48 PM) "Charlie SG 2 (code for the Sri Ganganagar ATC) I am manoeuvring for attack on VIP 1 off B-base (Indian code for Bahawalpur, known to Pakistani authorities)."

"
Indian Ground control (3:49 PM): "Godse -1 (code for pilot leader), prepare attack pattern and fire at will. VIP-1 is Red Hero (Indian code for the Hercules C-130b)"

"Pilot (3:50 PM, shouting) "Charlie SG 2...team has released missiles... converging on target!!!"

"
Pakistani Ground control (3:49 PM): "Pak 1, Break left, go! go!"

At 3:51 PM Hercules C-130b carrying Pakistani President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq was seen lurching up and down in the Bahawalpur skies, as if trying to evade missiles. Soon it exploded into a ball of fire. It can now be revealed that an Indian flight team took advantage of a window of opportunity to scare the Pakistani ATC and pilot of General Zia's plane to score a 'direct hit'.

Must you need spoon feeding repeatedly, Show me where i denied the authenticity of Niazi signing the documents, now take a look at your self and your country fellows....having a hard time swallowing an incident during the same war......yup derelict souls and bankrupt mindsets.... right in the neighbourhood.
As @Irfan Baloch said, Bollywood has certainly tricked your minds.
