Saudi Arabia is a close ally of the US, but it is no puppet. Please read the history of ups and downs of US-Saudi relations:

Do you have any source for this claim that Saudi's are assisting the US to spread extremism? After 9/11, as far as I know the US and Saudi govt. are working hard to eliminate extremism. Some private individuals from some gulf nations may send funds, but their govt. is not involved.

And Uyghur's are not very religious, I have been to Xinjiang several times, they drink quite a bit. Its more of an ethnic nationalism problem for Uyghur's only, not an Islamic extremism problem. And this problem will go away with time, since most of the new generation are learning Chinese as a 2nd language at school, which will help them get jobs more easily. Language barrier was and is one of their biggest problem to work in Chinese govt. jobs or private Chinese owned businesses.
Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia, the 3 biggest Muslim majority countries have close relations with China, and they don't support Uyghur separatist activities, nor do the Central Asian Turkic states, Turkey or Arab countries. Rebiya Kadeer is a trouble maker, she understand very little about world geopolitics and some clueless short sighted overseas Uyghur follow her unfortunately. She is not welcome in most Muslim countries. I think only Turkey allows them to visit, but this is due to Turkey's internal politics I think, due to Pan-Turkic nationalism, and I doubt they provide them with any material support, other than letting them stay.
Some criminals will cause trouble from time to time, so Chinese govt. have to have a patient measured response, otherwise the West will use human rights issue to put pressure on China.
