Well, most startups close down shop within the first 2 or 3 years.
This year I mentored two Pakistani startups technically and they got their seed fund this July. One more is on the way. NVIDIA no less showcased a very similar idea to ours just a month ago, with many more bells in whistles, and real-time! But my kids have within a month gone back on their primary project and is now operating relatively low-tech. Long-distance mentoring isn't easy, and the kids need to be takers. Not very hopeful.
My last year's kid managed to snag 1 million Euros from an investor in Germany, but I was only a casual mentor so no cut in it for me
