I do celebrate 12th of Rabi ul Awwal by lighting my house and reciting duroods on that day specially :)

These people are brainwashed by pirs and babas on mazars! Really its shirk! they will be strictly punished if they here in KSA doing these things!

I lived for 3 weeks at a shrine in jungle (yea in kashmir) but my Sheikh never taught me such things.

This sort of practice is started happening in some areas of India as well. I remember during earlier days, Shab-e-raat being considered holy day people wake up till late night and remeber the deads in family. Now a days in my areas, It is celebrated as Diwali with all Firecrackers and lightings. I think that is also haram.

They started by:

Saying naats more than hamads

then started to make small marches in some cities.

then started to make large marches in some cities.

then started to make large marches in almost all cities.

then started to use drawings of the so called sleepers of the prophet

then started to kiss the pictures of sleepers of the prophet

then started to spend on lighting decorations when we have shortage of electricity

then started to prepare large cakes

then started to compete who makes the largest and longest 12th rabi ul awwal cake

In future:

Candles will be introduced

then birthday caps will be used

then naats with disco music will be used.

Is this what Quran and Hadith say?

I am not sure what the fuss is about?

Islamic traditions are not set in stone,

If they were, we too would be pagans. As only pagans put things in stone and then say, this is the only way.

Islamic traditions are fluid, In Arab lands they have their traditions,

And

IN Pakistan land, we have our own.

If someone sits down and praises Allah and his Anbia. Great
If someone stands up and praises Allah and his Anbia. Great

If someone lies down and praises Allah and his Anbia. Great

If someone sings praises Allah and his Anbia. Great

If someone dances and praises Allah and his Anbia. Great

Who are we the mere mortals to object to something that happens to be between "man and God and his Anbia".

Who are we?

Are we some how appointed by God to check out others inside and out?

Heck no!

Let people celebrate the way they want and go ahead and celebrate the way you want.

If the day comes and someone forces you to leave your way to follow them,

I'll stand with you guys,.

peace

^^^ Yup... Christian traditions too weren't set in stone..or were they..look where they are now..
You do seem to miss out on basic definition of Islam..

"To Obey Allah's Orders on the way of Prophet P.B.U.H"..

These rituals shown in this video are the exact opposite to that...

We dont want to go that way..

Peace...

I know hari Pagree walay baba since he was a simple Perfume seller in sabzi mandi Karachi...
i am not his follower out of choice, but like the guy
He never asked people to do all this, but its time he comes out and ask people not to do this..

Honestly speaking looks like some shadi ka function!

And where in Pakistani jungle do they wear such dhoti in Pakistan?

I have no problem if they want to go dance whatsoever...But I do not see them saying it is Islam...If they say that then that is worrying!
