How many push ups can you do?

Very true. It's important to make it part of your lifestyle. Too many people get a urge and then after few weeks they fizzle out.

I think the majority of people on Earth could have a really strong and healthy body if they only did 3 exercises:

Pushups for the pushing muscles.
Pullups or inverted rows for the pulling muscles.
Squats for the leg muscles (primarily quads/glutes).

Bro just do 1 extra a day.
Last year I could not do pull ups now I do them with 30kgs

Weighted pull ups are amazing.

Whereas weighted push ups aren't that great IMO, weighted dips are the go-to for bodyweight pushing exercises. The only problem with dips is that you have to watch out for the correct form, with bad form they can be problematic for the shoulders. And you need to lean forward quite a bit otherwise it won't hit the entire pectoral muscle evenly.

Give us a number please with your age. And those of you who do it regularly how often/how many do you do? I did these often in my younger years but then slowly stopped. However after reading about United States Marine Corp fitness regime I have again got addicted to them. I try to do about 50 every evening. 27 on first shot and 23 on second after about five minute recovery time.

After heavy bench press (120kg upwards), I can pull off 80 straight, no rest.

Without working out my chest before I could easily go past 100 and onwards. I've never tried.

My weight 104kg at 6ft 1.

I'm more into weights and can bench 140kg. The odd time I have done pushups, I get bored around 50. Though I think at max I could do 60-70 before getting tired.

I'm 36 btw, 6'2, and quite muscular at 95kg. Been gymming on and off since I was 18.
