For me, it is a useless war with nothing to gain.at the end of the day,Taliban or ttp will attack again and recapture lost ground.we know America is now blaming us for everything.why there is no peace deal between ttp and Pak army? We must look at our national interest first.ttp is a terrorist organization but we have Afghanistan talibans who can negotiate a peace deal for us.we must focus on india.this Afghanistan situation will not improve until America leave Afghanistan and they will not leave which means continuous war with ttp.this is ridiculous.we must leave America alone in Afghanistan so that they can see the Aftershock alone.this useless war costs us too much money and lives.this war will consume Pak army.defensive lines and formations along Indian border are now weak.

Hashim Khan is a farmer from a remote area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district.

Two of his sons served in Frontier Corps Balochistan and laid down their lives fighting for the country.

Unfazed by the loss of two young sons, Khan has provided two more sons to the paramilitary force for the defenece of the motherland.

Hashim Khan along with his two sons Rafiullah and Irfanullah recently met with Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri who paid tribute to the martyrs and applauded his unwavering love for the country .

“Two of my sons have been martyred, I have given two more sons to defend this country and will get two more recruited in the FC,” he said while speaking in Pashto language.

Rafiullah and Irfanullah say they are proud of the sacrifices rendered by their siblings and will not refrain from any sacrifice for the defence of the country.

“We are proud that we are brothers of martyrs, terrorists want to deteriorate law and order but we won’t let them do that,” said Rafiullah.

Pakistan has long been battling insurgencies in its northwestern tribal areas and Balochistan waged by local and foreign terrorists .

Thousands of soldiers and civilians have been killed in the country's war against terrorists .

The country today ( Wednesday) buried a 22 years old army officer who along with another soldier embraced martyrdom in an ambush in North Waziristan tribal region.

Lack of apathy? which Military commander travels in an MRAP? The commanders travel in same RKR's RMR's, Hiluxes, L-200's etc.

Theres no magic wand that will appear and instantly MRAP's will be inducted in every unit. Phasing out equipment and acquistion of new equipment takes time.


Hilux has been armoured at certain level but still inadequate. Tundra is bigger however hilux can be locally armoured also to B-7 level protection.

Now a days it's recommended to cover the stars. But yes, misuse of staff vehicles is an old problem and hopefully would not be solved as usual.

Moreover, now a days escorts in squad styles have also increased the expenditures tremendously. Everyone likes to enjoy sirens and blue lights in front.



They could evaluate Tundra instead of Hilux and armored it locally. A much cheaper option.

We're fighting a War. This is not a Baraat Convoy that you're worrying about fuel here. Lives matter. We can't just buy the Proud Manjan every time a Young Guy loses life due to the crap provided by Army.

Army provided best they can afford with given budget, I don't gave source but I know how many times Govt refuses to procure armoured vehicles sitting reasons which I above mentioned, further for unknown reasons army also not showing much interest in procuring home produce even Turkish and Chinese as per friends they are still hopeful to get ex-US Afghan war MRAPS that is why they may be delaying.


Whatever the reason, army jawan and officer need protection..first provide tgem armoured vehicles..second strike deep inside Afghanistan in order to punish cross border attackers and planners.

I had a hunch you had no idea what you talk after going through your posts. PA soldiers improvised a covering from inside on the rear window of second cabin. Coverings were also brought up on sides of the rear open area usually painted as flags and an armoured capsule used for Machine gunner, but that protection is never enough.

STOP spreading mis-information about staff cars.

Brigadier level (one star) and above are authorised staff cars for personal use. Staff car can also be taken out station (outside the city) through an indent made from GHQ. A staff car driver may wear civilian clothing after office hours, because the staff car can be privately used at any time. The officer can drive the car himself and can give authorisation to somebody else (apart from driver) to drive the staff car.
A 4x4, usually Land Cruiser/Defender is also authorised for use apart from staff car.
Another vehicle with civilian number plate is also authorised for use, whether personal or professional at certain posts.
This should give you an idea now why 2 or more vehicles are authorised for one officer.

Apart from this, administration vehicles like pickups (Hilux etc) and high roofs (suzuki Bolan) are also authorised to be used, whether personal or professional. For lower officer ranks, these can be had on payment also.

Every junior officer, whether son of COAS or son of nobody, has to complete HARD AREA tenure. He maybe sent to Siachen, or to Desert or to western front. Unless he completes this tenure, his career cannot proceed. Secondly, if his unit is posted in war zone, he has to join his unit and serve in unit in that area. MS Directorate handles transfers and sends postings based on ACR and OEI.

Yes ships are needed Navy sucks Army needs to go for MRAP first before working on new Tanks India will wipe out Karachi and Gawader from sea if Navy is not powerful
