How many Indian members have RSS worldview

I am not exactly sure what the RSS world view is. Not that I care much since I don't believe they are taken too seriously so I voted indifferent.

I guess I culturally belong to the dharmic groups but don't really follow any of the religious aspects of these groups. I guess I am OK to vote too.

I haven't actually seen anything specifically anti islam from the RSS. They are a bunch who have a nationalistic outlook and a narrow definition of a patriot which they like to force down everyone's throats. When this nationalistic zeal meets fundamentalistic outlooks followed by some muslims, we have friction.

Case in point being this whole Vande Mataram episode.
You cannot force nationalism on someone else. Patriotism isn't the same as nationalism.
On the other hand you cannot use religion as an excuse to simply reject a song which has deep significance to people in the country.

I disagree vehemently with at least some of their activities and ideology that I am aware of,but never bothered to know their worldview as a whole.Which is to say,I don't see an option that resonates with my stand towards them.

I'm a Hindu nationalist and so is the RSS. So we have a lot in common. There are ultra orthodox loonies in the RSS like Dina Nath Batra who I loathe but the RSS has also given us gems like Narendra Modi & Manohar Parrikar. Overall I think I like the RSS

im ambivalent about RSS, but they are too north centric in their pro hindi pro sanskrit and they really don't have any smart leaders, only gud thing about them is they counterbalance to an extent to right wingers of other religion but then again they are not violent enough for that to do it effectively...

Almost all business man of my area are active RSS members, even I attended their morning prayers when I was in primary school.

They are not extremist they work on principle of selfless service to the nation.

As the member of the RSS it is my duty to tell you 'not to speck about a subject about which you know nothing about'

To be honest, I've not seen many/any Indian members on here with any real RSS traits. I honestly can't stand much of what the RSS has to say. Most Indians on here and that I know in real life are patriotic and nationalist but this doesn't have any basis in religion and certainly would never identify themselves as RSS.

The only people I see bridging up the RSS is the Pakistani and BD members here, in fact I didn't even know what the RSS was until I joined PDF despite having a lot of Indian friends and travelling to India extensively.

Pakistani and BD members are obsessed with the concept of Hindu-nationlism and it really only exists in their minds but good luck trying to convince them of this!

Is this Poll here just because Indians voted Modi to power. This supposedly 'right wing' shift of Indians was happening since the last 6 months to a year on PDF. So why a poll now?

Just because people wanted change of Power, stoped licking the Dynasty (Elitist), Stoped being an apologist for who they are, voted for development (that has eluded for 67 years)... doesn't make them RSS members or Sympathizers.

Its just that the 'majority' of India have now started expressing themselves.
