I'm still a relative noob here but have gotten to know some of the prominent posters' quirks. Gets a bit crazy sometimes where a comment can really get you boiling (in the interweb sense anyway) but next thing you know you see a comment from the same person in another topic and you totally vibe with their outlook.

so it's tough to rate users here based off their posts because their views may slant toward, or be the polar opposite of how you see things, and we do discuss some of the most divisive issues on the fuckin' planet.. great technical info from a few professionals as well as from other enthusiasts, great on the ground 'sitreps' from people near conflict zones too.

as for the hatemonger jingos, feel sorry for that lot more than anything, end of the day we're all pawns being played against each other in the great game of global geopolitics and wars.

great forum, addictive as hell if military stuff and geopolitics is your poison.

the military stuff is my main reason for being here, the political does attract the worst kind of indoctrinated zombie trolls but it adds a certain dynamic to the discourse here.
