What's new

How different a Bengali Muslim is from a Pakistani Muslim?

Bangali People are more poor standard of living because due to more poverty they have different dressing style, different food taste, they have fear of india, fear of haseena wajid as she is killing own country people, fear of flood in their minds because flood grabs lands every year i seen these are common things in most of banagalis living in UAE whom i meet.

Most of the middle eastern BD migrants are poor and uneducated so your experience derived from them are hollow.

I like how some of the people are come from a religious perspective, we all offer namaz the same (exactly!). Funny how it all revolves around skin color, no offence but the same people (not referring to Pakistanis as a whole) just a select few who say that they don't make skin color to be a big issue but then ramp on about it when it comes to the time. Secondly, Pakistan is a country which many ethnic groups and from my personal experience the UK Pakistanis who comprise of Mirpuris and Punjabis don't look a whole lot different from the Indian Punjabis and I've found it difficult telling the difference until I've spotted the bangle/kara. I've even spotted that the Indian Gujaratis (Muslim ones especially) look exactly the same as Briton Pakistanis especially when they both sport beards.

And funny how some of you guys are coming with this Persian/Turkish lineage, I have to admit I have spoken about it in the past in historical context but those same people SHUN Pakistanis believe it or not you think an Afghani or Iranian likes to hear that he is somehow "related" or his race bears a resemblance to Pakistanis?

I'm not trying to have a go or anything but to completely fabricate something is wrong, I wouldn't deny that Pakistan is still a country with a majority North Indic race. I live in a heavily populated Punjabi/Mirpuri area and it only takes a stroll down the road or through my facebook to see if these guys are an 'Iranic' or 'Turkic' race. However I can agree that Pakistanis have had admixture to some degree and we call it "Kichuri" in BD.

Similarties with Indian punjabis? Sure but Gujaratis? Though Turkish and Iranic is strecthing but eastern Pakistanis look different then Bengalis or average Gujarati. Same way when some Pakistanis refer to similarties with Afghanistan they mean in pashtun context, otherwise even Afghanistan have many ethnic groups and their own different looks. I mean Tajiks, uzbeks, hazaras, turkemens and other such mongloid influenced people don't look like afghan pashtuns of east Afghanistan we are familar with.

Punjabi is not race btw, there are punjabi dalits who look very different then lets say punjabi arains. Dalits are not majority but signifcant part of Pak population. Bengalis are homogeneous ethnic group compared to Pakistanis.

The difference is obvious.

pakistan is next to "middle east"??

as far as i remember, pakistan is next to iran ( which still is south asia, even as per uno ), afghanistan ( south asia ), tajikistan ( central asia ) and china, unless india is the new "middle east". :)

viva al-bakistan !!

Lol at Iran is south asia????????........Iran is a major Middle Eastern nation and Pakistan is connected to Iran. We are next door to eachother. Also a large number of Pakistanis resemble the Iranians and we share the same religion and have a lot of racial and cultural similarities. india is not connected to the Middle East and indians have absolutely 0 connection to the Middle Eastern peoples and races.

Sikhs/Punjabis make up around 5% of the indian population but Punjabis make up around 55% of Pakistan's population. And only a very small minority of those 5% indian Punjabis will have any sort of physical similarity with a Pakistani. Whether Middle Eastern people accept Pakistanis or not is of no consequence. The undeniable fact (as many Arabs, Turks and Iranians have privately admitted themselves) is that a lot of Pakistanis resemble Middle Eastern people. You cannot tell the difference.

Lol at Pakistanis look like gujeratis and southern indians.......lololololo......hahahaha. Pakistanis have 0 similarity with those people. In fact bengalis, Sri-Lankans and southern indians look exactly the same. You guys share the same racial origins and many other characteristics. You can never tell these 3 people apart.

Pakistanis share 0 similarity with bengalis. Completely 2 different races and 2 different physical appearances.

I base my analysis off real life speculation, the Indo Punjabis look identical to Pakistanis, the hooked nosed, light skin etc. The Gujarati Muslims especially the Kochi and Memon look like Pakistanis and it's hard for me identify and I consider myself good with phenotype only when I see their names then I know (famous for wala surname). I wouldn't be too surprised though, how far is Gujarat from Pakistan really?

Off topic, Bengalis are probably Muslims because of Pashtuns.

I am fully aware of the differences between Pakistani and Bengali Muslims bro. Bengal had a different path and present day Pakistan had a different path and journey. Allah Tala made us all different but religion is our bond. Picking out differences will only increase the distance.

Increase the distance?????????........we were never close to you people or never shared any similarity. And we never will.

why you are so rude with them ? when you share religion then you automatically share certain similarities. what is common between Pakistani Punjabi and Pakistan pashtun beside religion?

differences between Muslims should not make us arrogant

You guys share the same racial origins and many other characteristics. You can never tell these 3 people apart.

Then you know absolutely ZILCH about Bangladeshis then, that is the honest trust. "All Bengalis are dark" but when they see a Bangladeshi and then in awe because this person cannot possibly be Bengali, that's the mentality I see most of the time. Most Paks seem to be very surprised when they see a Mongoloid Bengali but you just have to go NE Bangladesh or SE that you will see thousands of them and yes they are Bengali Muslim.

I've never heard an Arab say that to be honest, how ever I can say myself that I have seen Pakistanis look Arab, especially the Kashmiris. And to follow that, I've never seen any race so into skin color than Pakistanis and that's purely down to the attitude I have seen.

Increase the distance?????????........we were never close to you people or never shared any similarity. And we never will.

There are more important topics than finding out differences between ethnic groups. Everyone is out to make their bread and butter but I thought I'd clarify a few things. I hope @Riyad who lives in a country which is 98% Bengali has now learnt a thing two.

I also base off my experience in real life, I am very familiar with bangladeshis but not with gujarati muslims in real life. Kochi and memons likely look like sindhis muslims, and they are not really average gujaratis either, more like 5% of Gujarat population. Plus these memons tend to be short and not as robust on average. Its easy to tell a part Bengali because of paleo mongloid admixture they have. Gujaratis as a group are clearly different but on individual basis you can say there is some overlap between east pakistan and gujaratis. Just like there is some overlap between west pakistanis and east pakistanis.

It was stupid topic started by @Riyad perfect for trolling. If we are Muslims then its very clear why there are different nations/tribes. Muslims belong to different countries/races/colour/languages etc and they are just for identity purpose and should not be the criteria of superiority or inferiority

pakistan is closer to ME than us... its a fact mate.. culturally majority of them(as punjab is most populous) are similar to Indians but genetically they will obviously have influence of all the region that surround them Its one of the most contested regions in history, many tribes passed via it and settled, it was on a famous trade route.
There is no need to reject this fact. Kerala has also got some minor ME influence(genetically), due to ancient trade route.

All my childhood friends are from Pakistan, I don't know what it is, but I mingle better with Pakistanis than Bangladeshis. Maybe it's the dirty jokes lol.

I only came here because of the far reaching claims made here. I know very well the differences but my point was most Pakistanis look Desi to me. That's all.

averge desi is averge Indian which is certainly not punjabis or indian kashmiris, and most pakistanis don't look like average desi. That's well known even in London.

Bro if you go to the north, alot of people look like Europeans.

They are Greeks - the descendants of Seleucus
