Hong Kong's Chinese loyalists make their voices heard | ABC News

.
Rival groups fight in Hong Kong, on its 15th straight weekend of protests

The west always claim that those who support the Chinese government are gansters, thugs and hooligans hired by the Chinese government, but from the video we can see many Chinese government supporters are women and senior citizens, it's the young protesters always hit out first on those women and senior citizens.

. . . .
Western media always try to make people believe that the whole Hong kong population are against the Chinese government, the truth is far from that, Hong kong now is very divided, the silent majority are those who support the government to restore law and order and those who are neutral.

From Hong kong's coverage by the western media, "peaceful protests and demonstrations" claimed by the west, people see violence, vandalization, arson... this is something people should learn first hand about western media, it's just a tool for their own cause, their reports on Hong Kong, Xinjiang, Tibet are total lies, what they are trying so hard to do is just to distablize China, their biggest rival and the sole challenger to their centuries old world domination.

.
are they HKers or Mainlands bused in?

2 mill out of 7 is a really big number.

If that's the case Hong kong protesters will be drowned out over night, not this months long. and why Chinese bused in so many women and elderlies?

Still a minority though.

Hong kong's water and food supplies are always provided by mainland China, if China really wants to punish Hong kong, cutting off water and electricity supply will paralyze Hong kong in an instant, but Hong kong is a Chinese city, China doesn't want to hurt Hong kong the slightest.

You have not answered my question. Do we know (ID?) that they are HKers and not Mainlanders?
From my understanding, Only mainlanders from Shenzen can freely go to HK.
And the lost generation are exactly the people mainland China would send. (Cheap to employ and lots of free time)

Also, every protest/revolution on earth has been conducted by a minority.
(Including the CCP taking over in the 50s)

So saying they are a minority means nothing.

To my Chinese friends, what I want to know is why are you guys so keen to take away freedoms from HK?
HK is a world class city, let them have their freedom and just maintain the two systems policy.

It will be terrible for both China and HK if China tries to claw back rights and freedoms of people who have been used to them for their entire lives.

Mainlanders are not used to the freedoms so maybe they will not understand.

Since when what we do in Hong kong needs foregin guidence? it's our internal affairs, Beijing also had riot in 1989, worse than Hong kong's in every scale, but the government brought it under control and that's the main reason China can take a economic take off so fast after that incident.

Hong kong protesters freedom is to separate from China and rejoin UK or become an independent country? Do you really think China will accept those terms? don't be naive pleasse.

You didn't answer a single question or point of mine.

Look man, I am not your enemy but you have to realize that in the rest of the world people are allowed to have opinions and are not forced to only think the way the government wants.

In Canada the state media is allowed to interview pro China individuals

Can you do the same in the mainland?

I can and will support people aspiring democratic freedoms. But I also want to be a friend to China so in my good willed opinion, China should just let HK exercise democracy and keep the two systems policy.

We are not Canada, we are China.

There was no freedom and election in Hong kong before 1997 under British rule, all those freedom and election system they enjoy now were granted by the Chinese government to Hong kong after 1997 takeover.

We are not Canada, we are China.

If you force anyone hard enough, they will want separation.
If you take a light hand, they will not go that way.

As Confucius said:
%E2%80%9C%E2%80%9CThe-green-reed-which-bendsin-the-wind-is-strongerthan-the-mighty-oakwhich-breaks-in-a-storm.%E2%80%9D%E2%80%9D-800x675.png

And no, we are not in China. We are on PDF a Pakistani defense forum with servers in the US.

Please understand that we (PDF/rest of the world) does not have to follow or think like the CCP.

They can try, they are not the first and probably won't be the last, but China stil develops fast and becomes a role model for development, so we don't need other models cause ours shows better result.

When did I say otherwise? people can have opinions on PDF, other countries don't follow China's line and China doesn't follow foreign countries line, fair enough for China, that's actually what China always says.

Also @haidian

A chinese member posted here that PDF was blocked in China so there are only 3 ways you are here.

1. You are in China but using illegal VPN (which means you are breaking Chinese law)
2. You are in China and are using legal VPN but that means you are an employee of the state (50 cent army?)
3. You are not in China but are using your personal freedom in what ever country you are in to defend censorship and loss of rights for HK people.
