I'm not sure what you've read but the ethnic groups in Pakistan were recruited and inducted to foreign armies as mercenaries to fight Hindus of present day India. In fact, many Hindus also served them in their armies to fight other Hindus so I don't exactly see what point you are trying to make? Did Hindu generals and viziers not serve under the Mughals?
