Homegrown Nishant Drone's Perfect Crash Record

Dear .. yes our drones have crashed and it was not success ... even seeing the quality of build is bad

We are trying and will master it .... please relax dear trolls

.
Drones was never the priority of the India, may be the reason that IA will never use it tactically on Indian Soil, and to be frank, no OEM whether Israeli or US will share its secrets with India. Nishant was the Indian own effort, and now have been scraped as no new order by IA. However I think it should be continued with Panchi, a wheeled variant of the Nishant as the tech demonstrator and to test new technologies on it. All 4 units produced so far by the DRDO for IA dosen't prove anything, due to the nature of the Drones to have high crash probability. IA have lot of option now, and Nishant have played its part and it have given its contribution as the Wankel Engine. There is no shortcuts in R&D, and India/DRDO might face these types of failure to bring the sweet fruit of sucess.

But, now India is now putting an effort, and pushing for a mojor thrust in the Drones development and the induction of various Drones in armed forces, and in 6 years, the demand of different Drones is not less than 1000.
Rustam-2 showed good promise of the MALE, and for HALE Rustam-H, For stealth Combat Drones, DRDO have AURA program. It is a matter of time, when looking at the huge demand in the Indian Services and the Civilian usage in India, many Pvt companies will jump in this domain, and TATA have already joined it. The usage of the Drones are important, which the Police used recentally to keep an eye on the illegal mining in M.P recentally, when the DM was frustated with the Mafia, and ordered 24 hour vigillance on them.

If drones were not a priority for India, India would not have been trying to buy hundreds of them from Israel and United States. It was definitely a priority but home grown programs failed to provide a solution.

Israel will never share it's secrets about UAV to any country but US. Russians aren't way advanced in drones themselves. ISRO and drones are not really linked. But I admit we are lacking indigenous knowledge in this field mainly due to delayed introduction of technology into the battlefield. It is similar to the case of attack helicopters, where a focus on them were placed only recently. I'd hope things change in future, Slowly but surely.

I'm not exactly sure how you found out about 20 nishant drones crashing since only 4 were ever made. So maybe another 16 crashed in your dreams or you have a natural tendency to multiply everythng by 5. Eitherways I'd recommend u verify information before you post to avoid wrong information from being passed on to others. It's very easy to pick up random numbers out of the air and create a hype.

If you see both the CH3 and Burraq, U'd know it's more Chinese than Pakistani. But regardless I appreciate PAF route of drone development because it's more feasible for countries like ours where R&D is ill-funded. I'd never compare Burraq and Nishant mainly because Nishant has always been a test project with just 4 prototypes made and India going at it almost entirely alone. Sadly may not be entirely successful, but hey that was the point of such a project. We didn't make 100s of Nishant and then realise it had problems. I'd actually praise the people involved for limiting it's number to 4. This may help make improvements in future projects. R&D efforts are never wasted, it might come handy in future someday.

Good Day all!

When you mention Pakistan's drone program and only talk about similarities between CH3 and Burraq, you are either not aware of the extensive involvement of private industries in drone manufacturing in Pakistan or you are deliberately ignoring it. These private industries have been doing research and development for decades and provided their solutions to many countries besides Pakistan armed forces. They have a range of products that is a testament to their untiring efforts in this regard.

I would suggest you to search online and see how many private companies are involved in drone manufacturing and since when; that would give you a scope of their involvement.

If you didn't have anything significant to say here, you didn't have to chime in. We already know how was the quality of the drones, as a matter of fact the whole world knows. And we know who the real troller is, so kindly relax and do your puja and pray next series of drones don't crash like these. You guys never understand and learn to communicate amicably.

Thank u dear ,,, how long pakistan will take to create their own Cars, sorry Scooters .... just trolling ... we accepted our drones have issues.... then why are u trying go overboard and troll the same..

First try to accept your short coming before trolling others

India have leaped a lot .... we may have born together , but pakistan will take ages to reach our side ,,, just thumping by seeing things on chinees arsenal is like buying a camel seeing grass in others plot

Have you ever been to Pakistan? I am sure you are not. Just ask someone who has been to Pakistan that have they seen any Pakistani sleeping in the footpaths like people do in your country.

Do you know which country has the highest number of people who defecate out in the open? Do some chest thumping now.

Which country still has caste system in the world and people get tortured and hanged to trees because of that? Now you need to do some more chest thumping.

Which country is fast becoming the rape capital of the world? Now you would jump really high right??

World's poorest sanitation system? Do you really want me to give you some more.

You guys have an inferiority complex with China as you can never be close to them in any way except population, so you guys day dream about them a lot. Keep these complexes to yourself.

When we are talking about technology , you are talking about society

Yes we have issues , we do not hide , we are working on it and we have been progressing very well

But we are not alienated and just researching on Mullah culture

if you have any respect about your country post any 10 -15 inventions or technological findings from your country , tell me any proud multinational company from your country

Nothing just going own as it is

India already had all the technology available from Israel, I am just wondering how India is not able to make a drone of not that high tech technology when it is able to send satellites and rockets to space and very highly publicized Mars mission. If one admits it or not, the fault lies in understanding the basics. You guys always had help available from Russia, Western European countries for your space programs and it gave you an edge. I am definitely not trying to negate the effort your scientists and organizations put to further the cause. I admire ISRO in many ways and also the support your government has given them.

India's space program started way back and it had several, several, several failures. No different to Nishant. Yes, things have been going flawless of late with ISRO, but that was built on failures.

India's UAV journey is basically just began.

If drones were not a priority for India, India would not have been trying to buy hundreds of them from Israel and United States. It was definitely a priority but home grown programs failed to provide a solution.

Domestic programs like Rustom 2 and AURA are going on. But private firms like TATA, Reliance, Mahindra, etc will produce outside MALE UAVs as well.

If you really wanted to know Pakistanis contributions, you could have spent 5 minutes and you"ll get a whole list. As you would like to spend wasting people time here instead of doing your own research, I'll help you with that. I got this list in just a min through only one source:

Agriculture

In 2013, a Pakistani firm invented a new formula to make fertilizers that cannot be converted into bomb-making materials. The firm, Fatima Fertilizer, had succeeded in making non-lethal alternatives to ammonium nitrate, a key ingredient in the fertilizers it makes. Fertilizers with ammonium nitrate, however, can easily be converted into bomb-making ingredients. This invention was praised by the Pentagon. “Such a long-term solution would be a true scientific breakthrough,” US Army Lieutenant General Michael Barbero, the head of the Pentagon’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization, said in a statement. After this invention, CNN reported that the United States and Pakistan reached an agreement to jointly make fertilizers with non-explosive materials.

Biology

  • Dr. Naweed Syed, a specialist in the field of biomedical engineering and member of the medicine faculty at the University of Calgary, became the first scientist who managed to "connect brain cells to a silicon chip". The discovery is a major step in the research of integrating computers with human brains to help people control artificial limbs, monitor people's vital signs, correct memory loss or impaired vision.
  • Dr Samir Iqbal, an associate professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Arlington, developed a novel cancer cell detection method that improves early diagnosis through a tool that tracks cellular behavior in real time using nanotextured walls that mimic layers of body tissue.
  • Syed Amjab Hussein, a doctor from Peshawar, invented the Pleuroperitoneal Shunt. This surgically implanted catheter transports fluid from a pleural space into the peritoneal cavity where it is absorbed, relieving breathlessness in patients suffering from cancer. It is used to treat malignant pleural effusions, basically a condition where cancer causes fluid to gather in the space between tissues(pleura) lining the lungs and chest, making it hard to breathe. S.A. Hussein’s work has led him to being inducted into the Medical Mission Hall of Fame.
Chemistry
  • Development of the world's first workable plastic magnet at room temperature by organic chemist and polymer scientist Naveed Zaidi.
  • A team headed by Professor Sohail Khan, a Pakistani researcher at Loughborough University designed a clever lavatory that transforms human waste into biological charcoal and minerals. These can then be used as fuel or a form of conditioner for soil. It also produces clean water. The invention can lead to community-led total sanitation in the developing world. The challenge was set by Microsoft founder Bill Gates who wanted to improve sanitation for the poor and combat open defacation in countries where water supply and sewage pipe infrastructure is not widely available.

Physics

  • Standard model of Electroweak Interaction. Discovery of electroweak interaction by Abdus Salam, along with two Americans Sheldon Lee Glashow and Steven Weinberg. The discovery led them to receive the Nobel Prize in Physics. Abdus Salam who along with Steven Weinberg independently predicted the existence of a subatomic particle now called the Higgs boson, Named after a British physicist who theorized that it endowed other particles with mass.
  • The development of the Standard Model of particle physics by Sheldon Glashow's discovery in 1960 of a way to combine the electromagnetic and weak interactions. In 1967 Abdus Salam and Steven Weinbergand incorporated the Higgs mechanism into Glashow's electroweak theory, giving it its modern form.
  • SMS Probe. Anything to do with Nuclear Power is dangerous. Some of the biggest disasters in history have been due to accidents at nuclear facilities, toxic waste from these facilities and insufficient precautions at these facilities. Sultan Bashiruddin Mehmood invented the SMB Probe which cuts down the chances of these disasters by a significant percentage. What it does is, it keeps the power plant operations in check by ensuring that there are no heavy water leakages and thus reducing the chances of accidents.
  • In 2015 Pakistani researchers developed a solar powered mobile phone network. The network according to them is useful for instances when regular services are disrupted such as earthquakes and floods.
  • Abdullah Soomro invented Flashpack, a power bank that is able to charge fully in just 14 minutes

Medicine
  • The Ommaya reservoir - a system for the delivery of drugs (e.g. chemotherapy) into the cerebrospinal fluid for treatment of patients with brain tumours - was developed by Ayub K. Ommaya, a Pakistani neurosurgeon.
  • A non-invasive technology for monitoring intracranial pressure (ICP) - developed by Faisal Kashif.
  • Two medical devices - a pleuroperitoneal shunt and a special endotracheal tube to supply oxygen during fiberoptic bronchoscopy in awake patients - were invented by Sayed Amjad Hussain, a Pakistani American doctor from Peshawar, Pakistan. His work made him an inductee into the Medical Mission Hall of Fame.
  • A non-kink catheter mount was designed by a Pakistani doctor A. K. Jamil. He also developed a simple device for teaching controlled ventilation (A device through which young doctors can be trained on artificial ventilation of the lungs without Operation theater and patient)
Computing

  • The boot sector of an infected floppy. A boot sector computer virus dubbed (c)Brain, one of the first computer viruses in history, was created in 1986 by the Farooq Alvi Brothers in Lahore, Pakistan, reportedly to deter unauthorized copying of the software they had written.
  • A Software simulation based on blast forensics designed by Pakistani computer scientist, Zeeshan-ul-Hassan Usmani, that can reduce deaths by 12 per cent and injuries by seven per cent on average just by changing the way a crowd of people stand near an expected suicide bomber.
Economics
  • The Human Development Index was devised by Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq in 1990 and had the explicit purpose "to shift the focus of development economics from national income accounting to people centered policies".
I think it's more than enough to debunk your claims.

Very good BUT just did a Ramdon search starting with TOP of the list AND

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jan/27/pakistani-fertilizer-firm-expand-us-despite-balkin/
The Pakistani corporation that has refused the Pentagon’s urgent appeals to control the flow of explosive materials to bomb-makers who kill U.S. troops is expanding its fertilizer manufacturing into the United States.

And it is being done with the help of U.S. taxpayers through the municipal bond market.

The Indiana Finance Authority has approved $1.27 billion in tax-exempt bonds for Midwest Fertilizer Corp. to build a nitrogenous fertilizer manufacturing plant in Posey County. Midwest is a new startup company of the Fatima Group, a conglomerate headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.

Fatima’s fertilizer components are used by terrorists in Pakistan and Afghanistanto build homemade bombs — the No. 1 killer of American service members in Afghanistan.

Sorry is this old news ?

U do know that there is an entire thread here that pretty much Debunked that !
LOL still doesnt change the fact. Same, is so called fatima organization was directly responsible US state department would have blocked the companies and its asset and place sanctions on the company's heads
