its fantastic simple is that. So much to learn about the not so often known by others!! I simply cannot resist such a mind blowing documentary about the 3 Ps who not only changed the
view of mankind about the star war technology but USA is rather indebt to these german personnel in shaping their warplanes spacecrafts & nukes of the 21st century.
The thrill is that one of them hired by Egypt to destroy Israeil by the nuclear technology of a German scientist. While the other two destined to destroy USA were rather opted to help it. And you must see the nuke prepared by the Hitler pounding radioactive dust upon Newyork but something restrained him
See for urself then

heheheh

Adolf actually wanted to nuke Britan as well.
Luftwaffe actually developed a couple of stealthy bombers to nuke britan and US.
And now USA developed a stealthy bomber and fighter after decades of germany did so :P

Even a maniac like Hitler had doubts about using nukes.:undecided:

I sincierely beg your pardon about using the term maniac.
Every country leaders thinks in his countries perspective.Whatever hitler did then was thought to be best for germany after suffering much loss in WWII.
And you indians being pawns of brits and yankees may not know much about nationalism and stuff.
gute that we ruined the birtans economy which in due course led to the freedom of india, else you people might have been under british control till today.

Hitler's stealth bomber: How the Nazis were first to design a plane to beat radar

With its smooth and elegant lines, this could be a prototype for some future successor to the stealth bomber.
But this flying wing was actually designed by the Nazis 30 years before the Americans successfully developed radar-invisible technology.
Now an engineering team has reconstructed the Horten Ho 2-29 from blueprints, with startling results.
It was faster and more efficient than any other plane of the period and its stealth powers did work against radar.
Experts are now convinced that given a little bit more time, the mass deployment of this aircraft could have changed the course of the war.
First built and tested in the air in March 1944, it was designed with a greater range and speed than any plane previously built
and was the first aircraft to use the stealth technology now deployed by the U.S. in its B-2 bombers.
Thankfully Hitler’s engineers only made three prototypes, tested by being dragged behind a glider, and were not able to build them on an industrial scale before the Allied forces invaded.
From Panzer tanks through to the V-2 rocket, it has long been recognised that Germany’s technilowcal expertise during the war was years ahead of the Allies.
But by 1943, Nazi high command feared that the war was beginning to turn against them, and were desperate to develop new weapons to help turn the tide.
Nazi bombers were suffering badly when faced with the speed and manoeuvrability of the Spitfire and other Allied fighters.
Hitler was also desperate to develop a bomber with the range and capacity to reach the United States.
In 1943 Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering demanded that designers come up with a bomber that would meet his ‘1,000, 1,000, 1,000’ requirements – one that could carry 1,000kg over 1,000km flying at 1,000km/h.

Two pilot brothers in their thirties, Reimar and Walter Horten, suggested a ‘flying wing’ design they had been working on for years.
They were convinced that with its drag and lack of wind resistance such a plane would meet Goering’s requirements.
Construction on a prototype was begun in Goettingen in Germany in 1944.
The centre pod was made from a welded steel tube, and was designed to be powered by a BMW 003 engine.
The most important innovation was Reimar Horten’s idea to coat it in a mix of charcoal dust and wood glue.
He thought the electromagnetic waves of radar would be absorbed, and in conjunction with the aircraft’s sculpted surfaces the craft would be rendered almost invisible to radar detectors.
This was the same method eventually used by the U.S. in its first stealth aircraft in the early 1980s, the F-117A Nighthawk.
The plane was covered in radar absorbent paint with a high graphite content, which has a similar chemical make-up to charcoal.
After the war the Americans captured the prototype Ho 2-29s along with the blueprints and used some of their technological advances to aid their own designs.
But experts always doubted claims that the Horten could actually function as a stealth aircraft.
Now using the blueprints and the only remaining prototype craft, Northrop-Grumman (the defence firm behind the B-2) built a fullsize replica of a Horten Ho 2-29.
t took them 2,500 man-hours and $250,000 to construct, and although their replica cannot fly, it was radar-tested by placing it on a 50ft articulating pole and exposing it to electromagnetic waves.

The team demonstrated that although the aircraft is not completely invisible to the type of radar used in the war, it would have been stealthy enough and fast enough to ensure that it could reach London before Spitfires could be scrambled to intercept it.
‘If the Germans had had time to develop these aircraft, they could well have had an impact,’ says Peter Murton, aviation expert from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, in Cambridgeshire.
‘In theory the flying wing was a very efficient aircraft design which minimised drag.
‘It is one of the reasons that it could reach very high speeds in dive and glide and had such an incredibly long range.’
The research was filmed for a forthcoming documentary on the National Geographic Channel.

Honestly speaking
what all the USA boast about today of technology came from Germany.
their rocket technology and stealthy technology and all space science and submarine tech is german.

For germany is it matter of hours to build a brand new atomic bomb from scrap. Can any nation on earth do that? No i highly doubt it.
May be japan might come second in doing that with their technological advances along side germans.

German Technology is the best in this modern world.
If you consider a tunnel boring machine,it has to be a german company who patented most.like wise theire were numerous thing that germans are good at.
Danke.

you must see here the engine intakes, they are strange, i mean how on earth these kinda intakes work, non of the modern plane has such air intakes

Heil German Engineers :D

i agree........ i say it many times that despite the hard works done by the freedom fighters of india-Pakistan still Germany had a very important role in destroying britian's economy that eventually led to the freedom of Pakistan, India and other countries around the world. Britian just could not afford to spend more money on us and keep us slaves....... i have seen so many places here in London where u go and u read or listen from old peoples (eye witnesses) telling you stories that this n this place was bombed during Hitler's era and their expressions on WW2.

I don't say Hitler was good or bad but WWII certainly helped us get freedom

Germans first bombed them planes then came the V-2 aka Flying Bomb, this 'Blitz' killed over 41,000 people in London
WWII: the London blitz of 1940

After a year of war, Adolf Hitler was ready to contemplate an attack on Britain. But, by August 1940, the heavy losses suffered in the Norwegian campaign had reduced the German fleet to the strength of one pocket –battleship, four cruisers, and a dozen destroyers. The British Home Fleet, based on Scapa Flow was much stronger than this, making an invasion by sea a less than inviting prospect. In the skies above the English Channel and the North Sea however, it was a different story. The Luftwaffe had numerical strength and, if they could gain ascendancy over the air, then an invasion would be feasible.
If the German’s were able to get through to English soil, things would be rather bleak for the British. At the time of the French Armistice in June, 1940, the British Army in Britain totaled some 26 divisions, of which 12 had been formed recently and were not yet fully trained or equipped. Only 25 of the 600 tanks, which were in action in France, were back in Britain. This is the impression that Sir Alan Brooke had of the Southern Command when he took control on June 26th;
“The main impression I had was that the Command had a long way to go to be put on a war footing . . . The more I see of conditions at home, the more bewildered I am as to what has been going on in this country since the war started. It is now ten months, and yet the shortage of trained men and equipment is appalling … There are masses of men in uniform but they are mostly untrained: why, I cannot think after 10 months of war. The ghastly part of it is that I feel certain that we can only have a few more weeks before the boche attacks.”
Brooke soon took on control of the entire Home Forces. He desperately tried to shore up British defenses with what little was available to him. He went so far as to requisition guns from military museums and war memorials. The Drury Lane theatre contributed a dozen rusty old rifles – even cutlasses from the navy of Nelson’s day were distributed to the local defense volunteers.
To Brooke’s great relief, the American’s agreed to provide Britain with 500,000 rifles and 900 75-millimeter guns, each complete with 1,000 shells. By September 17th, Brooke had the following home defense forces at his disposal:
29 Divisions and 8 independent brigades, six of which were armored. These forces included two Canadian divisions. However, the potential Nazi invaders outnumbered them at least four to one. Grand Admiral Erich Rader had spent the winter of 1939-40 studying the problems that would have to be overcome if his Fuhrer ordered him to transport the German Army across the English Channel. On May 21, 1940, Rader presented his findings to Hitler. He then waited for word on whether the invasion would proceed. Hitler, however, was preoccupied with the war to the east and gave no definite reply one way or the other. However, on July 16th, he signed his famous directive N0. 16 –‘Operation Sea Lion.’ The preamble to that document shows that, even at that late date, Hitler did not regard invasion as inevitable. It stated:
“Since England, in spite of her apparently hopeless military situation, shows no sign of coming to terms, I have decided to prepare a landing operations against England, and, if necessary, to carry it out. The aim of this operation is to eliminate the British homeland as a base for the further prosecution of the war against Germany, and, if necessary, to occupy it completely.”
The implementation of Hitler’s Order No.16 – the invasion of England – took the following four phases:

Phase One (July 10 to August 7)

German attacks on shipping and coastal ports. The German’s fighter tactics proved superior. Throughout this time the British concentration was on raising pilot strength and building up for the battle ahead.

Phase Two (August 8 to 23)

German attacks on radar stations and forward fighter bases. The RAF suffers heavy losses and pilots suffer from extreme fatigue.

Phase Three (August 24 to September 6)

German attacks on aircraft production and inland fighter bases. British pilot losses and fatigue reach desperately high levels.

Phase Four (September 7 to 30)

German attacks on London in a final effort to destroy British air power. After a climax on September 15th, the Nazi’s postpone ‘Operation Sea Lion’ indefinitely.

Up until aroud September 6th the scales of battle were firmly tilted in favor of the Luftwaffe, even though they had lost – since August 24 – 378 aircraft compared to 262 for the British. The German losses were shared between the fighters and the bombers, whereas the entire British losses came from Fighter Command. It’s less than 1,000 pilots were constantly in action and desperately in need of rest. But, then the entire picture suddenly changed.
On the evening of August 24th, A German Bomber formation accidentally bombed some non-military targets in London. Winston Churchill immediately ordered reprisal attacks on non military German targets in Berlin. This prompted a furious response from Hitler, who ordered that a blitz campaign of bombing start immediately on London. This began on September 7th, when a massive 330 tons of bombs were dropped on London.
The bombing of London continued for 57 consecutive nights. While it caused devastation in that city, it meant that the grinding pressure was taken off the RAF. The British were soon recovered from the Losses received over the previous months and had quickly gained the upper hand over the Luftwaffe, destroying some 380 aircraft for a loss of just 178 of their own. The bravery and tenacity of the RAF pilots prompted Churchill to utter perhaps his most famous words ; ‘Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owned by so many to so few.’
As mentioned, the German switch of objective from British fighter bases to mass daylight raids on London lost them the Battle of Britain. But the human cost to Londoners was enormous. What follows are diary excerpts from a survivor of the Blitz:
“Shortly after we’d gone to bed there was a violent explosion as a thousand pound bomb landed about a quarter of a mile away. . . the next morning we learned that London was still standing. Miles of East End houses had been destroyed, however, and thousands of people were homeless. . . Germany’s main aim was to spread alarm and despondency by knocking out all the saloons and pubs. . . a bomb landed in the middle of the street and there was a shower of glass and debris from the houses on either side. The whistles blew and A.R.P workers and special police deputies were on the job almost immediately.”
Despite the chaos that was being rained down on their city, Londoner’s were determined to carry on life as usual. The diary account continues . . .
“ The next morning the sky was blue and innocent. If you hadn’t seen the craters and the wreckage, you might have thought that you dreamt it. Traffic was normal, the shops were full, old ladies sunned themselves in the park, and soldiers and their girlfriends strolled down Piccadilly Square arm in arm. I lunched at the Berkeley restaurant. Suddenly there was a bang. The room shook as a time-bomb exploded a few blocks away. A pretty girl in a saucy hat turned to the young army subaltern with her, and said, in a voice that rang across the restaurant: “Did you drop something.”

Timeline - The London Blitz 1940 - 1941

3rd September 1939 - War declared
The first air raid siren sounds - it was a false alarm.
September 1939 - children are evacuated from London to the country.
About 1,500,000 Anderson shelters given out to poorer families.
25th August 1940 - the first bomb drops on London, probably by mistake. It is thought that a bomber pilot was meant to drop bombs on aircraft factories in South London mistakenly dropped them on the City of London.
7th September 1940 - the first real air raid of the London Blitz takes place. It comprised over 300 bombers escorted by more than 600 fighter planes. They started bombing the East End before they carried on to bomb the City and Central London.
This raid caused more than 1000 fires
430 people were killed and 1600 badly injured.
Damage was caused to two major power stations, homes and factories along the Thames and three major London railway stations.
17th September 1940 - a bomb hit Marble Arch Underground station killing 17 people.
18th September 1940 - the Lambeth Walk was destroyed as was the John Lewis department store in Oxford Street.
15th October 1940 - 430 people were killed in the bombing, five major railway stations were badly damaged, the City of London's watermain was also damaged as was the major Fleet sewer.
By mid October there were around 250,000 people made homeless by the Blitz.
14th November 1940 - this dated signalled the end of the nightly raids on London. German bombers raided Coventry instead.
15th November 1940 - the Luftwaffe returns to London hitting almost every borough. It uses a new bomb nicknamed Satan - it was huge - 1800 megatons of high explosive and it was a delayed action bomb.
The main Post Office sorting depot at Mount Pleasant was hit as was the National Portrait Gallery, Westminster Abbey and Euston Station.
November 1940 - about 3000 unexploded bombs were waiting to be defused around London by the end of the month.
29th December 1940 - incendiaries dropped on the City of London caused over 1400 fires including six that were classed as conflagrations, one of which covered half a square mile
The Guildhall was damaged, only its walls stood, eight churches designed by Sir Christopher Wren were destroyed as was Paternoster Row, a major telephone exchange, the Central Telegraph Office and guild company halls.
Also damaged that night were five mainline stations, nine hospitals, sixteen Underground stations and St Paul's was hit by incendiaries.
11th January 1941 - 117 people were killed in Bank Underground station when it took a direct hit.
19th March 1941 - a 500 bomber raid on the docks and East End of London killed 750 people and injured over a 1000 people seriously.
16th April 1941 - a 685 bomber raid caused more than 2000 fires and killed well over 1000 people. This raid also damaged or destroyed irreplaceable historic churches and other buildings.
19th April 1941 - This was the biggest bombing raid of the London Blitz so far with more high explosive and incendiaries dropped than any other night previously.
10th May 1941 - a 550 bomber raid dropped more than 700 tons of bombs and thousands of incendiaries. This was probably the worst raid of the Blitz.
Nearly 1500 people were killed and around 1800 seriously injured.
The Chamber of the House of Commons (Parliament) was destroyed.
The House of Lords, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Hall, St James's Palace and Lambeth Palace were amongst the many buildings damaged. Almost all the major mainline railway stations were also damaged as were 14 hospitals, the British Museum and the Old Bailey.

This was the last of the major raids on London in this period. There were occasional attacks over the following three years but raids on London only began again in earnest in June 1944 when the Germans started using flying bombs.

I don't say Hitler was good or bad but WWII certainly helped us get freedom

It makes me always laugh at your freedom movement.how the hell on earth one wants freedom from a person while helping him financially and militarily?
you people took the major share in the loss of german as well.God forbid, there will be a payback.
while on one hand, few nationalists from your country fought the british and others helped them in war ...
and the most funny part is, they say that achieved freedom by fighting for britan. :undecided:

I hate those who fought for britan and helped them and cleaned thier ***** after they pooh..
If India didnt have helped britan ,german victory would have been a bit more of success.
India took equal share in the loss of germany.

I'm sick of some of here on the forum having problem with Germans the first thing they've about Hitler and his army is "Nazi" "Evil" "Maniac" and so on...

You're brain washed with Fox/CNN/BBC/NAT GEO/DISCOVERY...You hear one side of story and believe in it you guys need to research that's what i tell most over here...I do not see any of you calling moronic bush jr/sr as maniac for bombing Chinese embassy in Belgrade or bombing new born facility in Iraq and as well as Belgrade killing all babies and an estimated in million Iraqis displaced and thousands killed..no body calls jews maniac for their killing for the past 41 Years, i do not see people calling Hindu Zionist army as maniac for killing 85 thousand innocents confirmed Kashmiris. The only thing looming in your heads in Nazi..Germany Lost big deal they lost they had not many of allies with them the way the put up fight bravo to them..US bombed Japan and War ended i don't care what most of you say I say Germans did their best to the last.
