HIT website confirms the existence of AL-KHALID II project

Yaar ... Why can't they have some professional graphic designer to create some professional looking banners? and this is not limited to HIT website only, just visit all different websites of Pak armed forces, same thing everywhere.

Then there are childish proof reading mistakes in the content of this website.

Yes, no details are there but at least that banner tells us people in HIT IT department are aware of the project. And believe you me this site and all its content was seen by higher officials there as well to keep in check any big mistake. If banner graphics is saying that there is a Al-Khalid II project, then it means it is real.

as a side by side comparison of the two leopard tanks NG is advanced and if that is the basis ok AK-II then it will have Western standard of equipment, as a guess.

There seems to be no structural modifications. Only internal software and hardware up gradations and additions. Just as JF Block-1 -> Block 2

How do you know this?

Don't pay attention tohis rumors. Look at the CAD of Khalid 2. Do you see or observe any structural changes ?

That CAD doesn't make any sense. The turret of AK without cage armour is not like this at all except maybe for sights placements. Also, It does not seems bulged.

Look closely at the overlapping turret designs. One shows the frontal turret and the other shows the upper side of the turret. To me it looks like they'll add add-on armour to it.

The banner shows the picture of proposed AK-2 gconfirming it's developing but not giving when you're going to get it in service. Reading the title I thought AK-2 is officially unveils.
