For the places you gave mentioned ,you have nothing to worry about. Taj Mahal isn't going anywhere. It's a great cash cow. Free $ basically. Westerners are emotional people and easily mesmerized by the love story of the great king who built this precious monument in the loving memory of his wife. Even though he had 1000s of concubines and chopped off the hands of the workers who built them, we don't tell them that, very bad for PR.
Lal Quila isn't going anywhere also. They use it for all sorts of parades and speeches.

Besides, people only get emotional if a temple was destroyed and a mosque built on top, not just any structure. Taj Mahal and Lal Quila aren't mosques. Small decrepit temples get destroyed to construct metro lines, highways, new buildings etc all the time, and people don't really care. Also for a mosque to get destroyed, it would have to be very famous and big and at the same time have an accusation that it was built on top of a temple. No one cares about a local small Mohalla mosque and what it was built on top of. Nor do people care about mosques that have clear records, were built after independence on empty land. There are at best maybe 2-3 mosques at risk in all of India.
