historic Hindu temple set ablaze in KP’s Karak

Amazingly I couldn't even care a tiny bit
I wouldn't want Christians or Sikhs or ahmedi attacked we must protect minorities at all costs including their places of worship
But I feel nothing but pure unbridled hatred for hindus

The selective bigotry you exhibit is nauseating. You need education to come out of embedded hatred and indoctrination. You cannot complain about Muslim oppression in the immediate neighborhood if you are no different.

According to locals this was a land issue. The temple was expanded to area owned by a muslim. The govt did nothing to solve the issue and thus this incident.

Regardless of motive or rationale, its a hate crime and perpetrators should be served justice.

Pakistani Hindus have as much right to practice their religion as anyone else in the country. Every person involved should be made to pay for the damages plus provide free of charge labour to fix the destruction Animals have caused.

They should be sent to jail and state needs to ensure restoration to the original state.

Vandalized can mean anything (eg. Pakistani flags being removed), but the mosque still functions. Destroyed is when it is razed to the ground and there's nothing left. Last mosque in India razed was Babri in 1998. 3 temples were razed in Pakistan this year alone.

The fact that you don't even remember the correct year of Babri Masjid demolition says a lot about how much you fret about Muslim rights in India.

A large number of temples and other non-Muslim houses of worship were built during the British occupation of Pakistani lands alongside their Hindu terrorist cohorts who brought them into our nations to begin with in their war against Muslims.

You really need to start reading an actual history book soon other than secondary school 'curriculum'. Does this mean India can raze mosques that weren't built by the modern Indian rule?

Local communities will not tolerate the humiliation and pain these buildings cause.

You are indirectly justifying Indian right wing razing mosques by applying the same logic in Pakistan. Muslims weren't natives of these lands and invaded the subcontinent where Hinduism flourished to build their mosques. They felt humiliated too and they razed Babi Mosque. Do you see what you are doing here?

All British era temples should have been converted into common use buildings for the larger public to use like homeless shelters, hospitals, orphanages, etc...

Existing Orphanages and Hospitals are woefully short of funds, having more underfunded institutes doesn't really help much.

It's a sad fact that Hindu's have betrayed Pakistan since even before independence.

Where do you get all this. So Hindus who helped Mughals get a foothold in India, their descendants today deserve punishments for acts they absolutely had no role in?

The Pakistani National Congress, a collection of Hindu traitors and terrorists, formed with the express goal of preventing the formation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Your justification of razing Hindu temples actually validates any minority's attempts to help convert Pakistan into a secular democracy.

There is a reason why the administration did nothing, it’s called self preservation. Defending a Hindu temple against fellow Muslims is like playing with fire, the mob could very well turn against them. It just takes a second for them to make a judgement about your faith. Remember Mashal Khans fate....!!!!

So fearing a mob rather than almighty and standing for the right cause. That can't be 'Muslim' at all.

This is sick, this never used to happen in Pakistan.
This is what you get when Muslims see their brethren being killed and mosques being burned on a daily basis in India. But, please, we cannot sink to the level of Hindu extremists in India,
use sense and realise that Pakistani Hindus are our brothers and sisters, they have nothing to do with what's happening in India.

I am afraid there still are many indoctrinated bigots in our nation

If you damage a mosque in India then likewise you should be arrested and fully punished. Does everyone in Pakistan who damages a temple get punished??

When a court says demolishing Babri Masjid was a crime but no one got punished despite irrefutable evidence, it set the most sick example of majoritarian bias in judiciary comparable to what has been seen during Apartheid in South Africa and Israel, the state of affairs in USA before the civil rights movement and the Nazi Germany.

A Hindu temple in Pakistan is like an igloo in the Sahara Desert.

It shouldn't be like that though.

Its not just Hindus that are the victims in Pakistan. Christians and Ahmadiyya (even Buddhists though they've been wiped out, yet you still destroy their relics) ... Lol, state concept of Islamic country with blasphemy laws. The Ahmadiyya have given so much to Pakistan, yet they are treated like trash.

I guess you feel the pain of Pakistani minorities just as much as you feel bad for the Muslims in India when they are called 'Kathmulla', 'Puncturewala', 'Jihadis', 'Terrorist' openly on Social Media. I guess you also don't believe in the so called 'populasun zihad' and support Muslims' rights to freedom of expression and freedom of choice when it comes to marriage.

It is interesting to note that no Pakistani on this forum is justifying or supporting the actions of the mob that set the temple ablaze. Indian members on the other hand, are looking gleefully at such events to justify and gain moral equivalence of their own crimes in India.

That is probably the only mild positive in this situation, we should be far far far better and more tolerant than the extreme right wing in India.

You know CAA was enacted for just such cases

You don't say, I actually am extremely worried about future of Hindus and Hinduism in India due to the extreme population growth among a certain minority group. Hindu population percentage reduced from 84.1% in 1951 Census to 79.8% in 2011. Tenth year since that Census will start tomorrow and these demographics will only have gotten better/worse depending on how you look at it. A certain group has grown from 9.8% to 14.2% and that is a growth of 44% while Hindus reduced by 5%. This is grave. Are you able to sleep properly.
I think the future has respected Pakistani Hindu community representatives presenting a resolution in Pakistan's national assembly aiming to protect the Hindu minority in the majority Muslim neighbor state of India. I also foresee a birth control law being passed in India limiting children however I fear it is only going to delay the inevitable, what say you! I was not surprised when a certain Ragini Tiwari said "kaat daalo" during Delhi riots, were you?

There have been 2200 arrests over the Delhi riots. How many more people should be arrested?? How many people were arrested for destroying temples in Pakistan? As far as I've researched its 0.

Innocent until proven guilty and last I checked, all 32 accused in Babri Masjid case were acquitted despite overwhelming evidence.

Please keep going and fix all historic wrongs. In the mean time we'll build the new and improved Babri mosque.

Such a noble gesture, raze a centuries old mosque over false pretense and then offer to build a Mosque-mall.

KPK government should resign

Has anyone ever resigned in Pakistan

ohh I see, to then I should tomorrow burn my aunty which has occupied 1 Kila of me!

I see what you did there.

A historic Hindu temple was set ablaze in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district on Wednesday, residents and the police said.

The Krishna Dwara temple is situated in Karak’s Teri union council. It came under attack by hundreds of residents who set fire to the building.
The miscreants surrounded and vandalised the temple for hours but the police were missing from the scene.
In July 1919, Guru Shri Paramhans Dayal was laid to rest at the site and a temple was built there. Muslim residents of the area closed the temple after the Partition in 1947.
In 2015, the Krishna Dwara temple was restored on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Hindus and the Muslims signed an agreement on December 22 agreeing that the renovation of the temple would not exceed the specified area.
Advocate Rohit Kumar, a representative of the Hindu community, said the residents violated the agreement by vandalising the temple.
But Muslim residents of the area claimed that the Hindu community was illegally expanding the temple building. They said the matter was reported to the police too.
Residents said the police’s failure to intervene angered the masses who later vandalised the temple.
A large contingent of police reached the site after several hours and brought the situation under control.
Minister condemns burning of Krishna Dwara temple in Karak
Pakistan’s Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari condemned the burning of the Hindu temple in Karak.
“The KP government must ensure culprits are brought to justice. Ministry of Human Rights is also moving on this,” she said on Twitter.
“We as a government have a responsibility to ensure safety and security of all our citizens and their places of worship.”
FIR lodged
Mazari confirmed in her tweet that the police have registered an FIR. Further action was being taken, she added.
Desecration of Hindu temples and scriptures in the past
Worship places belonging to the Hindu community have been desecrated in Pakistan in the past too.
In October, a group of men vandalised idols at a temple in Sindh’s Nagarparkar. A suspect arrested later told the police he had done it for money.
A pre-Partition Hindu temple was demolished in Karachi’s Lyari on August 16. “The Hanuman temple dated back almost 200 years and was a worship place for several families living in the neighbourhood,” Pakistan Hindu Council Patron-in-Chief and MNA Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said at the time.
In February 2019, an arson attack on a Hindu temple had spread unrest in Kumb in Sindh’s Khairpur district. Unidentified people had entered the Sham Sundar Shewa Mandli temple and set fire to three sacred books and idols.

lagta ha kisi molvi na pher kisi ko jannat ki basharat daa diii haa ... very sad....

2020 Religious site destruction score:

Pakistan (Hindu temples) - 3
India (Muslim mosques) - 0

...and yet people on this forum call the BJP/RSS racists Nazis. Who are the real racist/Nazi??
teh difference is that Pakistan govt condemned it at highest level and FIR has been lodged instantly while in India govt is behind all this anti minority destructions with full support of indian establishment. :enjoy:

. . .
but why ???????????
you are my favorite poster :partay:

Most of us have left voluntarily.

I left a parting shot when my ban finished and I could make changes to my profile.

Everywhere I go on WhatsApp, people talk about new secular forums of patriots non politically aligned.

But I have yet to find such a place.

It's either Hindutva or Islam.

Cheers, Doc

.
...the Babri mosque was likewise a land issue.
The Land issue here and there were fundamentally different, they were expanding illegally, but Babri Mosque was not, check your facts before speaking, I mean imagine living in a country who political ideals are Pro-Nazi. Check your facts before speaking I say again, this is not a propaganda site.

.
No issues. Just brick and cement.
As long as no one is injured or killed its fine , zero attachment to places of worship .
Would be much worse to lose a private citizens home to arson.
t
This cannot be an excuse, all perpetrators must be delivered justice at the earliest.

.
The temple should not have been expanded illegally. The residents went to police and authorities multiple times but as usual, no response.

This is a failure of the system. Should not have happened but hopefully now things will be corrected and Temple will be reduce to its actual allowed size.

seriously, you cannot be that blind and dense.

Communal tensions? what a description.
You have been killing and mass murdering minorities, especially Muslims for decades,
destroying, desecrating and burning mosques and shrines all over India.

This incident or the total number of incidents in Pakistan since 1947 is nothing compared to what happens in India, nothing.
You people, and your nation is at another level of hatred that does not exist anywhere else in the world.

SHAME on the lot of you.
