Imagine Pakistan having population of 44 Crore today. We would have starved to death. Only those from border areas and those from communally troubled neighborhoods migrated to Pakistan. Its completely understandable some one sitting in Delhi or Hyderabad running a successful Business even voter of Muslim League deciding not to completely abandon his life earnings and move to an alien land.
Its a bitter truth. I am from a migrant family too. and 99% of people who migrated from India were those who were forced or threatened out of their ancestral home. My Grandfather was a well of Land Owner from state of Kapuurthla. The Sikh Raja Himself advised all Muslims of his Subjects to migrate to Pakistan as they are no longer safe from "Sikh Jathey" Raiding villages and towns. And Provided all assistance he could in the process.(the State was then merged with India)
I can imagine if my Grandfather was from Delhi and a supporter of Muslim league, could decide to stay back. (Shukar Alhamdulillah he was not and he Migrated to Pakistan).
Don't make sarcasm of plight of Indian Muslims despite of the fact that they always disassociate us whenever we show concern for them.

Most likely Ankit Sharma the IB staffer was killed by the Hindutva mobs in thousands and the reason for 400 cuts and bruises, either he was saving the Muslim locals as being in a govt. job, or/as being one of the local person residing there.

There are reports of Hindus protecting Muslims in their respective areas and Muslims protecting Hindus too. This was a planned attack with people in hundreds brought inside the areas in buses...

It is a blatant case of state-sponsored pogrom presented as a riot by India's spineless media, No, it was not a riot by any standards. The rioters deliberately murdered Hindus as well, two of them well known, a Delhi police Head Constable and an IB staffer, to show that they fell to Muslim brutality. Otherwise, what was the need to stab the IB staffer about 400 times.Perhaps he had been marked as a target well in advance because of his uprightness. As far as the future of BJP is concerned it would soon be a forgotten chapter. It would get buried under the weight of its own sins and India would carry on its secular path like a river that rolls down all stones and boulders that try to impede its course..

It was a well planned, well timed and well executed anti-hindu riot... attempts were also made in Dec and Jan (in Delhi)... but got foiled because of 2 reasons... 1. Swift action by Delhi police... 2. People living near Jamia and seelampur did not reacted to the arson and beating...

But this time... failure of police and intelligence... led to these riots...

And yes these areas have villages of Gujjar community... and they reacted... mostly innocents from both sides lost their life...
