well, for private use I wont buy but for taxi I might... also for govt that needs cheap look alike cars (for VIP security), amby serves the purpose as they already got many.
BTW about maruti..its best car manufacturer in India.. because of their service... so yeah, am proud owner of maruti car

it is not a suzuki assembling plant in India. all ancillaries are produced here even for other countries. same with many other brands also.

Well the whole JV is owned by suzuki now(majority share holder), but since they have not killed maruti brand, its still maruti.
So whats your original question again? Will I buy maruti? yes I will. its brilliant in India, in customer service... although other companies might have better cars.

maruti 800 was cheap that time i guess, anyway people hardly use taxi cab, mostly use CNG auto rickshaw.

question was about Ambassador Cars that u have better options but still stick to obsolete vehicles.
