I am at wits end on why Pakistan is allowing these folks to return to Pakistan. Once they left and with the intention to take on Indian citizenship and forego any allegiance with Pakistan, the GOP should completely reject their return. This is a horrible and very bad decision.

Nobody leaves home willingly (exception is opportunists which is minority), It's not easy to live in Sind especially interior under feudal. Ones who have money migrate to western countries, these guys were poor so max they could afford was go to Hindustan but that place proved to be worse for them. Hindu's shouldn't have left, every country has issues with minorities and there are always people who will always look down upon " others ", try to attack them physically and emotionally, even to this day American Muslims face hate in certain areas, lots of small attacks were done on mosques, but overall Muslims feel good and better and majority of Americans are not like that, same logic applies to Hindu's of Pakistan, and I understand its easier said than done but as now they were even humiliated in India, they should understand that Pakistan is their country and common Pakistani has no problem with Hindu or Christian its just that small amount of people and Terrorists who do such things on behalf of Foreign powers to give an impression that Pakistan is not a safe place for Minority, and above all of that unfortunately we elect Leaders that does not give a shit about any Pakistani minority or Majority, we have Courts that does not provide justice to Minority or non minority, but i hope that the returned families will find peace in Pakistan.

Everyone from South Asia should have the right to return. This includes Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian (any religion or none) who left because of violent partition and politics. Thousands of years of history and ancestry cannot and should not be cancelled by a 20th century event. Historically, I don't know of any king or ruler in the subcontinent who denied people their homeland. It is a blasphemy.

umh genocide wasn't the intention of partition mate... it happened in some places because of a complete lack of law and order while in some places it didn't
but Partition itself was never about taking some ones homeland from them - this was the tragedy of partition (not that it negates partition but it is a dark spot of partition)
