Hindu woman forced to adopt Islam, eat beef in Patna's Phulwari

The Patna Police have detained two people following the complaint of a Hindu woman that her husband and his family members, who are Muslims, allegedly forced her to adopt Islam and eat beef, and also blackmailed her after making a **** video of her.

The woman, who hails from Kolkata and was married to Asif from Phulwari in Patna, claimed that her husband's family forced her to live in a madarsa for a month to learn Islam and eat beef.

She claimed that Asif and his family members tortured her.

A case has been lodged at the Gandhi Maidan Police Stataion in this connection.

I don't take 498a and domestic violence cases at face value so I have my own reservation on this piece of news, I wonder what the bindi brigade and messiahs of secularism have to say about it. Is this news worth debating on prime time?

It is an one sided accusation, let the case be investigated instead of jumping your guns..

How did the lady get to know him and how did they marry. Was it a nikah or a marriage under special marriage act. Too little is mentioned in the OP, Let the facts come out.

LOL Are you carrying a butthurt from a previous thread? Well my OP has clearly given out reasons why they were blocked and on what pretext. Here it is mere accusations without much detail. Get me details and if what the woman states is true then those responsible should be punished appropriately.

First of all a hindu women marrying a muslim man, was it a love marriage? If yes then certainly a very bad choice. Should have been careful who you trust.
But in bihar there are many cases of men buying womens from other states to get married. If that is the case then it is a criminal offense.

If she was hindu than it's wasn't a marriage Islamically to begin with. Either she converted for the man and then change her mind or guy was a douche who lied to her. Muslim men can't marry Hindu women.
