Hyderabad and Meerut are two major Indian cities with almost 50%(if not more) Muslim population. However we shouldn't generalize, all Muslims are not the same.

true... but the problem is that when the population of muslims increases in any particular area their behaviour towards other religions starts changing... and those areas become more threatning to other religious communities...

Waise a word to the wise - Yes...you have a right to be angry & yes they (the Indian Muslims) have a right to be angry as well when either said is wronged but do approach such problems with a lot more tact ! I've seen many Non-Muslim Indians on this forum, every time, such an incident happens or something close to it happens or anything when an Us vs Them (Indian Muslim) type situation is created, the language many of you guys use whereby everything from '47, the Partition, Pakistan, Extremism, Osama Bin Ladin & so much more is thrown at the Indian Muslims, is bound to alienate them !

If you talk to some of the octagenarians who are still around & who saw the events that led to the Partition would swear to the Communally charged environment & the sense of Alienation with extreme overtones of 'Us' & 'Them' being thrown about, by both sides, back then, as if it were an Article of Faith - Don't do that....be smarter...be much smarter !

The Muslims of India in the years that led to '47 didn't want to break-away at first but this is what happened on a recurrent basis & you & the Muslims are doing the same mistake all over again ! They've begun to start asserting themselves & you've begun to start asserting back both of which has the propensity of turning ugly !

It may not lead to a Partition for there are no Muslim Majority Areas in India anymore but it sure as hell could lead to fissures between Hindus & Muslims (Brothers) that would take years to mend !

So be a bit more smart in approaching this problem - Both the Muslims & the Non Muslim Indians !

the situation isn't much different in hyd either bro.... once u enter the oldcity area u almost feal like u r in pakistan....

i am not exactly from hyd but whatever i hear or see in news and net hyd is a strong hold of vhp and bajrangdal.even in old city they are holding rallies on hanuman jayanti.there is a strong leader like raja singh who has become a pain in the neck for MIM.old city is no more how it used to be in 90s.telangana hindus are not cowards.they are fighters

Riots are not often covered by the Indian media and the death toll is greatly reduced. In our Lucknow there used to be many riots. I know some people who lost family members in riots in Hyderabad. Outside the Andhra Pradesh High court a number of people were burned alive just because they were Muslim even though they did not follow Islam at all.

My own family is largely from Lucknow. My Ansari side is from Barabanki. We're lucky we escaped that place and came to Pakistan. Our grandparents and parents sacrificed everything to come to Pakistan. Today I am a proud Pakistani who will gladly die for his nation if called upon to do so.

It is a pity that the situation in Pakistan itself has deteriorated.

majority of the hindus across india are divided in the name of castes but the case in telangana is diff.we have a feeling of telangana cutting across all the castes.that feeling arises more whenever we feel we are attacked by outsiders like muslims.we dont have any prob with christians but we have a strong antagonism towards muslims(though it has subsided a lot in districts ).muslims try to wag the tail once in a while only in hyd and they have been given tit for tat response in all the recent petty riots

U dont the Situation Here Brother ... these People are all going Crazy ... they wanna Kill the every Fuccking Hindus ... out of them 10% are good buts most are not ...

i have seen it with my own eyes ... the Indian Muslims are very Radical today ... how can i protect some one who is on Self-Destruction mode... But at the sametime i have to Protect my community who is being killed in most of these Riots ... just because they preach peace and are politically insignificant ...

I have seen my State Kerala running into Jehadi hands in my life time ... there is no way of containing it ... i dont wanna see it spreading into other parts of India...

And This is not about who being more Indian or less Indian ... they are Indians who want to make India a Islamic Country ... its a Fight for Survival ... and offcorse i want my Community to survive in India...

And i can just Hope and Pray those good 10% doesnt get squeezed in the coming Tide...
