Anyways the situation is much better in UP this year compared to last year.
In 2012 between January to June 18 people were killed in communal clashes in UP
In 2013 only 6 people were killed between January to June 2013 in UP.

Hyderabad and Meerut are two major Indian cities with almost 50%(if not more) Muslim population. However we shouldn't generalize, all Muslims are not the same.

Muslims can't live peacefully with people of other religions---FACT. When I was a child I was taught to respect other religions and things like there are many ways to reach god and we are just following one of them. But Muslims are taught that their religion is the ultimate truth in the world and everything else is bogus; they also get points for converting others. That is the main reason why they can't live peacefully with others if they have the numbers on their side, otherwise there is always the victim card.
