During Islam's early days... All the sahaabas who converted had to also leave their Idol worshiping spouse... They couldn't stay in those marriages... If it true for them.. it's true for us. We aren't more special.

well he did say she will slowly practise Islam etc, but 8 years later, it never happened, so ig my parents realised and slowly cut them off, haven’t seen them for over 4/5 years now
