The American Dream wasn't limited to the US mainland. Pakistanis, inspired by the progress, wanted to build their country the same way and to enjoy a better standard of education and overall life in Pakistan was pretty good.

Then something happened in the 70s and 80s. We lost track of true progress and started becoming influenced by another way of thought that didn't belong to us.

Oh btw today the PM came forth, high and mighty, claiming, yet again, that the US has been asked to stop the drone attacks. Somebody please tell him we have info regarding his words with the US delegation and to stop making Pakistan look like a fool. What does he want the world to say about us ?

So true in my view the biggest turning point in the history of pakistan was during zia's time that is when it really went downhill he really started the bad kind of islamisation,sidelining minorities,useless harsh laws,changing education system promoting mullah culture he whored out pakistan like a prostitute using it as frontline state opening doors and inviting jihadis from all over the world and taking money and giving the americans a free hand and now it's taken root and we still f ucked up by this today ! prior to this we were used as an example to other countries pakistan was so respected in the world thought of as a progressive,moderate,stable nation with a good economy we had a reputation like south korea or turkey and now we are clubbed in the same league of countries like somalia and afghanistan how far we have fallen........

My point is : America provides Pakistan so much with financial and military aid, and USA indeed was one of the close ally of Pakistan during cold war time. But what went wrong, so that 90% of the Pakistan started hating USA though till date Pakistan is largely dependent on USA.

not me i hate each and every thing in Pakistani forces which are made in USA . all these toys are nothing but exchange with our blood.look at loses of WOT we can but 200 4th gen fighters 5 times in 10 years with that money .

Life saving equipments of Hospitals mainly come from USA and other country. The computer / hardware / OS all the USA made. Will you and your forces

indians have this huge misconception that the public opinion in Pakistan is being moulded by the army. well i dont blame indians for that, as they also have this misconception that even if a cat dies in india, it is due to ISI. so basically its not their fault. they are brain washed by their media into anti-Pakistan zombies (an example could be daily glance on top three headlines on major indian news websites, out of three, atleast two are based on Pakistan bashing, and yet we Pakistanis are called as being obsessed with india).

on topic, even though we can celebrate on the fact that we are being provided with clean chit from out american masters, we would not like to talk about the fact that we actually need to get a clear chit from our own populace. a government and army with people on its back is what Pakistan needs today. but sadly both government and the army dont really bother about the sentiments and thoughts of general populace. one is busy multiplying there assets and the other one is busy buying new toys, which God knows for whom against they actually want to use.

we would love to brag that we are the nation which hates USA the most, while conveniently forgetting all the aid and trade which USA has provided us with over the last 50 some years. majority of us would do anything to get hold of that coveted passport of USA, but even after we reach there, claim all the benefits, we would still bash the USA.

is it very hard to understand that we have an evil in our society called extremeism ? dont we face it everyday in one way or another ? so what is wrong in the fact that someone is asking us to get rid of this evil, which ultimately would benefit us the most ?

USA is doing what is in their own national interest, and we are NOT doing what is in our own national interest. why blame USA ???????????????
