Insincerity angers me and hypocrisy angers me more. These three so-called patriotic Bangladeshis have no principles and are making sensible discussion impossible. Also the repressive climate in Bangladesh is annoying and depressing me. We are returning to the dark days of BAKSAL and one party rule but these three will not say anything about this. India is again encroaching into Bangladesh but these three do not realize that the arrest of the Jamaatis is merely a distraction from this threat and from the governments own numerous failures. I am deeply concerned for the future of the country but they find only time to make jokes. They apparently do not see the seriousness of what is happening in Bangladesh. I see a very bloody ending to all this but these three can only laugh and make a mockery of the country. They will be the first to hand over our sovereignty to India not caring about the thousands that will die in the ensuing violence.

With all the typing....you still could not stick to the point....on the first page of this thread, your accusation was that i make a "mockery of Islam", and i simply asked you to enlighten....reply to that first, prove to everyone that your words are true.....

And MBI, get a knock of reality....the Jamaatis are paying for what they did....your crying here and blaming me or other members are not going to help you anyway, at least wont stop me from talking good about my country....take half an hour, i have just around 250 posts....point me anywhere where i have criticized my nation....

Whatever the emotional state is , we must remain sophisticated in our etiquette while reacting to other people. When we react in a way that has some negative charge, this will usually work against us. Now , as a result, these three whom you have targeted, will be gainer by your negative attack and you will get negative image. Your mission requires you to maintain good rapport all the time.As a law practitioner , you know how important it is to maintain the rapport.

I have said nothing in favour of the Jamaatis in this thread. What disgusts me is that the three were arrested on one ground but are being questioned on completely different issues and cases. This is highly illegal. The police cannot fish for evidence in this way. If they need to be questioned on 1971 then the magistrate should have issued a warrant of arrest on that specific charge. What has happened in fact is an abuse of police powers and is a threat to democracy in Bangladesh. That the court awarded 16 days remand when only 10 was prayed for shows the political motivation behind the court order. This is also outrageous and an undermining of the rule of law.

Old School is that good enough rapport for you? I should mention that I do not suffer fools gladly and I am not a politician so I am not so much concerned with my image. I am not scavenging for votes or trying to win a popularity contest. If people support those three and their idiotic arguments and lies then I have no need to convince them. I am looking to convince people with open minds. Most members here who are supporting the three are in fact Indians and I am not interested in swaying their opinion.

Neither of these arrested Jamaat leaders made any statement to commit "blasphemy". But some other city Jamaat leader made speech while back which is base of Awami regime arrest.

One can see on leagal basis this is a non starter case:

First: Arrested accused did not make any statement of blasphemy.

Second: Case was filed against these Jamat leaders are based on false premise - guilty by reference.

Third: Case about jamaat leader who made the statement have not even made through the court.

But all in all fallout from these stupid Awami venture will be:

1)They will not able to pursue Jamaat leader for "war crime"
2) Awami League and indians will loose their "war crime" deception show for political mileage
