Okay may be some whole wheat if you can keep your weight in control(less than 100gram so half a naan a day but not a naan, home cooked wholewheat) and some rice once a week...
But not everyday
Wheat is not good whole or not once in a while is ok.

Whole wheat less than 50 gm per day( half rotee/day) is good because half of is fiber anyway ..
Same is true for unpolished rice..

If you completely avoid fiber you will end up with high protein diet with colon cancer in 50s..

Yeah you can do alot of pulses but still..

You are right and I use small amounts of grains or rice

Please advise me how to stop fat from accumulating around stomach region
Very simple.
1. reduce the intake of starch and eliminate sugars
2. Regular walks for approx avg 3km daily
3. put in shredded cabbage daily as part of diet.

With above, you will see between 2-4kgs drop in approx 3 weeks. Always have high fibre diet - I dont mean none of the kelloggs weetabix kak etc. I mean green or regular natural whole fibres; avoid red meat.

Lol, I understand man. You know what I really love? Home made samosas and Lahori nashta....

Anyway, Look into intermittent fasting, you know that Calorie restriction is the only way to prolong Life. In animal models restriction of calories is the only way to prolong life.
Yup true. All I need is some discipline to get things done and back on track

GERD is actually a symptom and not the cause.... Long term GERD is not a good sign.. there is always an underlying cause. It's more difficult if the acid reflux are silent.

I am no doctor but I think you should start probiotics. Barrets eosophagus can't be undone, but probiotics should help you take control from here on to avoid any unpleasant situation with this. Do look out for kefir, I thinks it's better for the long term.. even otc pills like vlc#3 helps.. may be doctor here can suggest more on this.
I am living in UK from last 15 years so it was not because of poor hygiene and this issues developed recently in last 4/5 years. even when I was in Pakistan I hardly ate anything from outside as always ate healthy home cooked food though was spicy.. I did not went to doctor earlier for acid reflux because of which got complication ..Yes they checked the sample during endoscopy and find no sign of abnormal cells yet and will keep monitoring in future

When the waist goes above 34, I stop eating carbs and waist is the only place I add! Just can't get bigger than size M overall no matter how much I eat and I eat a fair bit ..

GERD is acronym for reflux..nothing else
Barrets mean cells have adopted to high acid environment and have became stomach like in esophagus which isnt normal and thus can be defined as pre cancerous lesion..they look white on scope from normal pink..

We either do surveillance or ablation ...but ablation isnt been studied alot for benefits

And NO it can be undone..if acid is suppressed for while in most(not all) the cells go back to normal

I am just following the advice of doctor at the moment . I was told by him to lose weight, take Omeprazole daily to reduce stomach acid, Eat small meals at regular intervals and avoid foods that produce acidity and they will also keep monitoring condition of cell by taking biopsies after few years to find any early changes (dysplasia) that may develop into cancer

Trust me on probiotics. talk to your doc... this will be your life changer. Also please take as much veggies and fruits instead of heavy meats like beef and mutton.... chicken and fish are fine though !

Diet matters but basic foods are sufficient.

However, formula for good health is simple:

Keep the head cool and feet warm
(Keep calm or don't stress and walk a lot)

Every single virus is already in our bodies! As long as the immune system and organs are functioning properly and fully, body will fight these viruses and not let then multiply.

But Stress leads to the 'fight and flight' and this is when the energy goes from running the bodily functions optimum to hands and legs! When body functions are not running at optimum levels, viruses then have the right environment to multiply and attack ... Stress hormones shut off the immune system.

You can eat all the best organic food all your life, but if you stress a lot you will be sick regularly to the final day than compared to another who stresses far less.

Placebo (positive mindset) cures.

Nocebo (negative mindset - direct link to stress) kills.

As for the second part re keeping feet warm, that's simple. Be active, but on your feet.

Offer highly focused prayers to balance and reset the brain frequencies. Gratitude emotion has the strongest frequency that overrides all others and gratitude to Allah during Namaz and during the day causes a significant reduction in stress levels.

I believe most of the effect is placebo
Thats what randomized trials showed
If you give probiotics to 1 group
A empty pill to another group
The results are no different than each other
but better than ordinary population ...

Probiotics have a possible role in C diff treatment and thats pretty much it

What about restoring flora after pronged antibiotic treatment.
