'Headley says Ishrat was Lashkar suicide bomber'

Armed with disclosures from Mumbai terror attack scout David Coleman Headley, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had apparently informed the Intelligence Bureau (IB) that Ishrat Jahan was a Lashkar-e-Taiba suicide bomber.

Following his arrest in September 2009, Headley had told the FBI that Muzammil, the so-called commander of Pakistan-based LeT terrorist group, had recruited Ishrat.

Headley’s claim before the US agency is in focus at a time when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the IB are locked in a tussle over the veracity of intelligence inputs that led to encounter killing of Ishrat and three others.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) — which questioned Headley in 2010 — however, makes no mention of his revelations on Ishrat in its 119-page report.

Though the NIA remains tight-lipped on Headley’s Jahan disclosure, sources said the agency did not mention it in the report because it was hearsay.

Official sources said the IB, in a letter to the CBI on February 28, 2013, made it clear the FBI had conveyed that Headley disclosed he was introduced Muzammil by top Lashkar commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. The FBI communicated it was Zaki who told Headley about a female suicide bomber named Ishrat Jahan.

The CBI’s FIR filed in the Ishrat case on December 16, 2011, said there was no evidence to substantiate “certain news reports” on Headley’s revelations and that Jahan was part of a terror network.

But headley himself has admitted to the FBI that Ishrat was a terrorist. Was he also brainwashed by these Hindu fanatics? I don't think so.

Ishrat Jaha's case is actually very misleading. CBI is actually doing what congress wants it to do.. to appease the muslims.
Fact's are actually very few. which could bring reality.
Bt the two most importnt point is
1)IB got inputs from FBI through Headley.
2)NIA didn't mention anything in it's report abot Ishrat.. after questioning Headley.

Pakistanis are not good muslims. otherwise they wouldnt be encouraing fellow muslims from india into acts of terrorism.
If they are good muslims they will just invite indian muslims to move over to Pkaistan as its the homeland of all south asia muslims.

Sir Don't you think this is confused thinking. Do you really think she will get caught with a suicide vest? Do you know how many suicide bombers get caught with vests instead of blowing themselves up. It is very easy to give lectures on human rights sitting on a keyboard or in a TV studio.

Unless you are become a cop who is putting his own life at risk to catch a suicide bomber I really don't think opinion like these matter. Its is for the state to decide weather it wants to condemn its own citizens to suicide bombing or take proactive action.

Anyways this particular case is absolutely politically motivated by the Congis to get to Narendra Modi. The CBI was exposed and r@ped by Supreme Court. Now if anyone still believes that they are not a political tool of the Congis then they are living in fools paradise.

What was she doing with 2 pakistani nationals? How the heck did she reach Ahmedabad. If she was indeed an LeT operative then no sympathies. But the truth should come out.
