Some of his points are very valid...
He is a good writer (some points are very valid)
but a complete failure speaking strategically...
Bush did not say sorry for waging Iraq War on the basis of Weapons of Mass Destruction even though they could not find any...
Same goes to Mughals...
Who admits his mistake on that level?
See religious war in Europe...
Protestants vs Catholics
Calvinists and so on
I mean every country was involved in leg pulling in Europe (including people)..
It happens everywhere...
There are more blind patriotic people than rational ones
Since when the U.S. started to teach their children in schools about the mistakes they did?
So, the idea of blind patriotism is seen in every society...
There is no such society who thinks scholarly regardless of their national interest.
The idea of calling someone a traitor is based on one reason i.e. If someone says something (history wise) which contradicts your believes than that person is a traitor.
To learn history one should be neutral.
I like Hassan Nisar's work but blind patriotism is seen in every society..
He is quite right that we should not criticize others for our problems.
We should be strong enough to defend those acts...
BUT at the same time he is presenting Western Society as the most glorious one...
When Hassan Nissar said in the video that traitors are not the part of western culture because the demands of the people and leaders were/are the same..
So, when British Empire expanded and committed those horrendous acts..it means the British civilians were equally responsible?
