Responding to Hassan Nisar, even in Pakistan in Pakistan people don't eat cows who give milk, cattle, etc. But there does come a point when a cow stops giving milk, stops giving cattle. So why not eat it then? Once a cow has reached this stage it is of no value except it will consume more food. If you eat it at that time, you get iron, vitamins etc. And on top of that, you get leather! That you can use to make 10,000 things.

So overall, i don't agree with his point since it makes little sense.

Actually, its not Hassan Nisar's point of view but he is citing some Indian Thinker. I was thinking along the same line as you said it, its not true. Its some Indian who were ashamed of Hinduism started looking for logical excuses for status of Cow in Hindu religion. Off course they started calling cow their mother had some reason behind it and no one thinks he came out of cow's vigina. But whatever the reason, they think cow is their mother, laugh or cry over it but thats how it is

Dalits eat beef... even cow is killed and eaten by dalits and Muslims all across south India..only north Indians take killing of cow seriously..that is why north is called cow belt.
PS:south Indians too apart from keralites worship cow but they don't make a big issue if it is killed...to be honest I too feel ban on cow slaughter is irrational and illogical(even though I don't eat it).

To be honest i would never kill or eat a cow around a hindu guy just for respect for his feelings towards it.
I guess its not a big deal to avoid eating/killing cows around hindu majority areas.
You can use buffalo meat as a substitute.(Considering buffalo is not sacred to hindus as cow, correct me if i am wrong).
I have heard that there is a taste and color difference in buffalo meat but you have to make some sacrifices to have peace around you.

Maybe india need to have laws for different areas for this problem.
Ban cow in hindu majority areas.
Allow cow in muslim majority areas.

Not sure if they already have these kinds of rules or not. My knowledge is limited in that case.

And killing someone over eating beef should be a crime as well. I do not support those killings.


And for Eid occasion gov could allow muslims from minority areas to go to majority areas and perform their sacrifices there.

There can be a lot of things done much better than i could even suggest to solve this issue. If and only if gov wants to do it sincerely.

Many hindu people support Muslims in this country....Only the people who are fighting against them are few fringe groups and Media is just fueling it up....The place where I live right now used to a Hindu Muslim problem few years ago...Until when some Hindu fringe groups were band and top Muslim fringe group leaders died in an accident....Now this place is very peaceful and people live together they rely on each for support...

My point
Our Foreign office pointed out a very valid point , now a days some Indians are making a fuss about beef issue and people are being killed on the same issue while the India herself is one of the top meat exporters . So why the hipocrisy
