Agree in general, but there is no specific effort by China to bring Pakistan and China together. There are no plans for a joint SCO summit and Bangladesh is not even in the SCO. We don't see how China benefits from better Pakistan Bangladesh relations. Bangladesh is not a member of the SCO has not even an observer status. Last check Bangladesh is not even officially in the dialogue process though it may have initiated early talks .So we don't know what is China's game. Chinese investment in Bangladesh and products manufactured may ( long shot) be routed through Pakistan but highly unlikely.
LOL
Why closer to China? Why not even more closer to her guru Shri Narendra Modi who made a speech ( un-interpreted and in Hindi) in your Jatiyo Sansad when Sheikh Hasina is ignorant of the language and she along with 90% of the Jatiyo Sansad are fairly familiar with English.
For a country born out of pride in its linguistic identity the submission to linguistic arrogance from the big brother next door is surprising.
My post about the American-Chinese geopolitics was a reply to the Chinese member actually. Frankly, I'm not surprised by your lack of geopolitical knowledge about this region so let me tell you in brief. China would want Bangladesh and Pakistan to come closer, especially after the recent Sino-Indian tensions, which would send a message to the Indians, part of mind games. This is why Imran Khan called Hasina under Chinese direction and now Hasina has reciprocated, for her own benefits.
SCO has practically become SAARC 2.0 after the inclusion of India and Pakistan, and more so since the beginning of Sino-Indian tensions.
India and the US have common geopolitical interests in the region so Hasina would surely not be able to secure protection from the forthcoming threat that I mentioned I earlier, by aligning with India.
And I don't remember when Modi gave a speech at Jatiyo Sangsad, do show me a news source if it ever happened.
In case you noticed I already said this was a long shot interest
I already said its a possible long shot interest.
I already said its a possible long shot interest.
You do tend to shoot too long, may be it's time to give it a break as it's clearly not working in your case? Also, you may have noticed I have ignored and didn't bother to reply to your straw-man arguments, I hope you won't make such arguments further as it's clearly a sign of low intellect.
Curious why this interest in what Myanmar gets based on this video
Why wouldn't there be? Wouldn't you be interested in what Indian, Iranian or even Afghan military get?
Really? Where did you get that data from?
Bangladesh is the 4th largest export destination for Pakistan in Asia and 10th largest overall.
There is a significant number of Pakistani students studying in Bangladesh and the number is growing. I never heard of any unwanted incidents occuring to them, so again, do share a source of the lynching incident you talked about if it's true. Below is a video made by a group of Pakistani students in Dhaka,
I was going to say Khuda Hafiz ( which is Good bye in Urdu) but will respect your country and end with :
Joy Bangla !
Khuda Hafiz is Persian actually and the actual translation is "May God protect you". I though do agree that Urdu is a beautiful language and Pakistan has an extremely rich culture, incorporating the aesthetic stuff from the superiors.
Anyways, Fi Amanillah
or to reciprocate your kind gesture, Pakistan Paindabad!
