Has Aselsan Developed Block 70 Modernization Package for Turkish F-16 ?

Turkey almost re-manufactured whole electronics of f16, there is a program called OZGUR. Aesa radar is on the way. Engine studies are going good, probably in the next ten years we will be able to build a f16 from scratch.
Yes you are right but i think turkey can much sooner develop national version of f-16 because engines are built already under license for more than 20 years i hope they managed to learn how’s made but no need for f-16 copy if we have already hurjet program i think hurjet will be turkey’s own gripen style jet ozgur program is basically gaining experience for hurjet as well as developing new capabilities for both hurjet and TF-x my prediction is that both hurjet and akinci will be major export succes for turkish defense industry in near future of course I expect at least 1200 Tf-x produced and sold to friendly countries you have ukraine qatar pakistan azerbaijan malaysia indonesia maybe central asian turkic states i can add here south africa some north african states and south american states

When Tf-X and HürJet programs pass into serial production phase, Turkey will have thousands of qualified aerospace engineers working on the most challenging national aircraft programs so TUSAŞ will continue to develop next generation fighter programs to benefit from our engineering army experience. These efforts and experience will create a continuum of programs and a non-stop working ecosystem that is set to make Turkey one of the top players on aerospace technoloes next to the US, Russia and France in 2040's. Turkey is making sure steps are taken to make this happen and it seems our institutes have more courage than any other new players like S.Korea to develop and produce the most critical sections of aircraft. S.Korea prefers to outsource many vital components that make aircraft a deterrent force so Our way is more difficult but When we achieve our goals in this sector, It will cause many many people's tongues to lose.

Yes you are right same situation with japan they have so much potential to have their own military industry completely independent but choose to be under us control

In 2011 we got F-16 full source codes. Since then we keep equipping them with Turkish sub-systems.
It's for the Blk30s. The B30s are best aircaft we have in line-of-sight engagement scenarios. Critical avionics components, especially the mission computer, have been localized, and structurally the most agil maneuverable aircraft at low altitude. Also it will reach a wide range of indigenous ammunition capabilities. We cant say advanced Blocks can have an absolute advantage in any situation. If the system's engineering is not yours additional equipment and some avionic upgrades bring some limitations. These may be import restrictions for some subsytems, or systems that may added to the structure later , which may affect the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft.
