Haryana govt mulling law against 'love jihad': Anil Vij

Would be fun watching these narrow minded morons come up with a definition of love jihad considering so many Hindu men marry Muslim women in India as well.

Thank you Jinnah for separating us from this plague called Indians.

.
There is a big difference in how Hindus and Muslims live.

Explain.

Very few marriages of Hindu girls and Muslim boy are happy.

That is because of the Hindutvadis constantly interfering in the couple's life. It is the same as some unthinking psychiatrist declaring that "over-weight / obese" women are at risk of being depressed. The psychiatrist does not consider that when such women are being constantly bombarded by messages from media and from people near her that she is "unhealthy" she will become "depressed". It is not her who is in the wrong but it is the society, in our context the Hindutvadis.

This was seen recently when Tanishq jewelers was forced by the Hindutvadis to pull out its advertisement that had a Hindu daughter-in-law being feted by her Muslim in-laws.

One of the Indian Muslims here did some research and caught this Halfmoon guy. A year back he was saying anti Muslim stuff right here on PDF.

@Naofumi caught him. Naofumi, can you search out that post ?

Dont know about but muslim population in south india has stabilised just like hindu population.
The ratio of hindu to muslim population will remain the same even in future.
Another thing is muslims in south india also have only 2 children on average just like hindus...
And you are assuming that all present day muslims and their sons and grandsons will remain muslims even after 50 years...many indian muslims have started following things like vastu shastra.
In 50 years of time they will become more hinduised.

Muslim communities are moving house and forming blocks because of hindutva extremism in India

They don't necessarily need population increase, just population in the right places

.
Religious conversion for the sake of marriage needs to be banned. Children should decide their faith once they attain the age of maturity.
This is a good step, since generally Muslims in India don't allow the women in their community to marry across faiths.
Unless that changes, no conversion should be allowed.

According to one study, Islam will vanish from earth in next 5 decades except from India and Indonesia. Any ideology which can not offer peace, brotherhood and love can not exist for a long.

Right and "harmonious" Brahminism / Hindutva will prevail for all eternity.

Soft-Warning

Sanatan Dharma is eaternal and hence will prevail for eternity. Other religions are like air bubble. They emerges , expands and vanishes. Many such have gone till date. Some are in history and some are not even in History.

These marriages are deserters and change of religion invariably comes in. There is a big difference in how Hindus and Muslims live. Very few marriages of Hindu girls and Muslim boy are happy. A Muslim girl marrying a Hindu boy is fine. She will get a lot more respect and dignity than she get by marrying a Muslim.

Islam itself has not much time left. According to one study, Islam will vanish from earth in next 5 decades except from India and Indonesia. Any ideology which can not offer peace, brotherhood and love can not exist for a long.

It's utter bullshit

We dumped it for a far superior system in Islam

You should tell that to the ghost of the young Dalit student Rohith Vemula who committed suicide because of being oppressed by your Sanatan Dharma.

Rohith is one example out of millions of such oppressed people down history. This is real history, not the delusionary one you quote.

Well, politically and socio-economically, True Communism will prevail in the timeline you are quoting, whether or not some people will be culturally Muslim, Christian etc.

And you should consider what system should prevail on Mars because by 2070 there will certainly be thousands of humans on that world.

its even easier to sit and ignore what's happening in kashmir for them... i have little hope they can standup for much.
Do they have a death wish that they'd speak for Kashmir?

I was like you a few months back...I was berating an Indian Muslim on this forum a few months back for not speaking for Kashmir. And I cringe so hard at my idiotic thinking now. Kicking someone who's already down.

They've already been branded traitors once again in 1947. Do you want them to become permanent traitors by supporting Kashmir's independence? What difference will their speaking up for Kashmir make anyways? Was Pakistan able to win over Kashmir? How can disenfranchised Indian Muslims do anything for Kashmir?

Also if Kashmir separates and they were supporting it, Hindus will make their life complete hell. You have double standards for Kashmiris and Indian Muslims. Indian Muslims marte rahay koi baat nahi...magar bas Kashmir ke liye bolein.

Chal nikal yahan se. Ask Iran to speak up for Kashmir, ask Saudi to speak up for Kashmir. Stop making Indian Muslims jump through hoops for Kashmir

Haryana govt mulling law against 'love jihad': Anil Vij

Chandigarh, Nov 1 (PTI) The Haryana government is mulling a law against 'love jihad', Home Minister Anil Vij said on Sunday, a day after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced his government will bring a legislation to deal with it.

'Haryana is contemplating a law against love jihad,' Vij said in a tweet in Hindi.

On Saturday, Adityanath had said his government would come out with a law to deal with 'love jihad' and used the Hindu funeral chant 'Ram Naam Satya Hai' to threaten those who don't respect their daughters and sisters.

He said posters would be put up of those involved in 'love jihad', a derogatory coinage used by right-wing activists to refer to the alleged campaign of Muslims forcing Hindu girls to convert in the guise of love.

Addressing election rallies in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur and Deoria, Adityanath also welcomed the Allahabad High Court ruling declaring that conversion for the sole purpose of marriage is not valid.

Last week, a 21-year-old college student, Nikita, was shot dead in Haryana's Ballabhgarh by a man. The victim's family has alleged that the man was pressuring her to convert to Islam in order to marry him.

Some Hindu outfits have alleged that the woman's murder is a case of 'love jihad'.

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president Alok Kumar met the victim's family on Friday and expressed concern over the incidents of 'love jihad'.

'A talented young girl, ambitious to reach the skies was murdered by Islamic jihadists at a public place and in broad daylight. It is very difficult to bear this loss,' a statement issued by the VHP quoted Kumar as saying.

It said 'increasing incidents of love jihad, religious conversions and atrocities on Hindus' are a cause for concern.

The Haryana government has set up a three-member Special Investigation Team to probe the case.

The police have arrested two men -- Tausif, the main accused, and Rehan -- in the case. PTI SUN VSD DIV DIV

---

Here it is. The right-wing Hindutvadis openly using the excuse of a straight case of murder, to now prevent a man and a woman from being together just because they belong to different religions, something they did not choose at birth. Is such a prevention ordained in the Indian Constitution ?

@Gadkari @Protest_again
@IbnAbdullah

But these laws are not against basic human rights and Indian Constitution?

So in india people can not choose their life partner, get married to whoever they want?

if Indians do not have these basic rights, then what type of society they are....

.
Yes Laws can be formed within the constitution. For Example...

1. First when falling in love girl or boy must not conceal their identities. I mean if after eloping and subsequently finding the girl or the boy is from another community and if the boy or the girl decided to back track and complain then there should be trouble for the other party. How to prove it? Well , this generation fall in love through Mobile phone, so digging out the truth is not a problem.

2. After marriage if any dispute occurs between the couple, the dispute should be solved as per the general law i.e as per constitution and not through Sharia. You know what I mean? Alimony, property share etc..

3. In heritance : If the parents does not agree, they can debar the children from their properties in these kind of marriage.

4. After marriage the original religion should be intact (you can debate it ). No change in surname (again debatable)

5. No Govt. benefits.

6. Lastly, if it ends with violent murder, then life imprisonment. (that if the motive is found to be forced conversion)

You are right. Since BJP gained power in 2014 and a few years before that there has been such a resurgence of regressive thought in India that was not seen publicly since Independence in 1947.

Not only it seems that inter-religion, inter-caste and love marriages generally with whomsoever we want ( which you said is a basic right ) are more difficult now there has been a bolder public projection of ridiculous, regressive and anti-human ideas that in earlier years was hidden away. For example, the practice of sati ( burning of a widow on her husband's pyre ) was last known, at least publicly, to be done in 1987 ( the Roop Kanwar case ), yet we have an Indian right-wing PDF member @Gadkari justifying it to me only a few days ago.

Since 2013 there have been assassinations of four progressives carried out by a right-wing, Hindutva group called Sanatan Sanstha yet it remains not banned.

However, even the Indian Muslims and Christians have turned regressive in the last 15 or so years. I must point out that the supposed conspiracy called "Love Jihad" was first theorized by the Catholic Church in Kerala state in 2009.
5. No Govt. benefits.

Actually in these difficult times especially there should be government benefits for inter-caste and inter-religion marriages to increase National Integration and harmony. Especially when you are also talking about parents debarring such children from property inheritance.

This is a good step, since generally Muslims in India don't allow the women in their community to marry across faiths.
Unless that changes, no conversion should be allowed.

The prevalence of women marrying outside their faith is the highest amongst Christians with 3.5 per cent of women having mixed marriages. Sikhs come second at 3.2 per cent, Hindu’s 1.5 per cent and Muslims 0.6 per cent. The data, however, does not show the religion which the women are marrying into.

Source : https://indianexpress.com/article/e...-revealed-about-interfaith-marriages-6742991/

So, the rate difference is 0.9 percent and considering the high rate of Hindu Khatri-Sikh Khatri marriages (mentioned in article too - Punjab having highest interfaith marriages Punjab is Muslim-less state, you know why) that 0.9 is most likely inflated because of that. So, actually the rates are more or less same between common Hindus and Muslims.
