aray bhai Nepalis celebrate the year 2068 as new year when he migrated to Nepal this calendar started in Nepal now from where it has become Indian new year ????????//

This is a hindu calender not nepali..! According to this calender the new year starts from first day of month chaitra, which was on april 4.

Hey Jana, Today is Assamese new year too and today our biggest festival RONGALI-BIHU (Festival of Rang-Funfair in Assamese) starts. I don't know about these Hindu/ Muslim new years though, but Bihu is not a religious festival, but a cultural festival. Hindus and Muslims all alike used to celebrate Bihu since time immemorial in Assam (except the Bangladeshi illegal immigrants of course but now a days, they also started to participate).

And Rongali Bihu is celebrated mostly to welcome spring season, which is the most beautiful season in Assam, but it only coincides with the Assamese new year.

Nothing except that India, Nepal and Bangladesh are celebrating their New Year!!
Are iajdani,integra, eastwatch and the members from Bangladesh; Hindus??
But they are celebrating New Year as well.
So please wish them-- "Shubho Nababarsha" which translates as "Happy New Year"

What India claims it? Are you out of mind? You have Hijri Calender for All Islam not limited to Arab or Pakistan and all your festival are dated according to that Calender. Without it its not possible to have particular same date of your festival. Just Like that Vikram Samvat is Hindu Calender not Limited to Nepal, India, Fiji or anyothers but its Universal Calender of All of Hindus regardless of any political boundry.

Just check on that thread that I posted, you can confirm whether iajdani, integra, eastwatch, Banglafighter and others are celebrating or mourning.

No I am not Bengali but my wife and my In laws are. Its Love marriage. So we celebrate both festival. Tomorrow my In laws will come to my home and official Holiday of state of West Bengal.
