Today is July 5th, 2016 and date of birth of a political ideology of Zia through Nawaz Sharif.

It was July 5th, some 39 years ago when an Army General was on US Duty and had asked the then right wing parties to clear the road for Re-Islamization of an already 99% Muslim populated country.

Once road was cleared, Zia treaded and sowed three saplings which Pakistan is still enjoying in its true and proper glory:

How can you blame one single person for all the problems afflicting the country? Was he the only citizen , what about the rest. Its a collective failure , blaming a single person is escaping responsibility and not learning from mistakes.

non sense, Bhutto was instrumental in separating East Pakistan, he was a dictator, who wanted nothing else than one party rule, and for that he broke half the country

It is all about intent.

Zia had tactical mind. Simplistic solutions to problems created more problems however whether it was self preservation, is contestable.

There was no doubt each breath Bhutto took was for the preservation of his rule and family. He was a total fraud feigning to be part of common folks when he was part and parcel of feudalism. Folded cuffs, open buttoned son of land persona was the most dubious act of all.

Nationalism, unions, political culture in offices and universities plummeted the productivity. The daughter, an apple that didn't fall far from the tree further ruined what was left

When first bomb blast happened in Peshawar - I think in Khissa Khawani (correct me if I am wrong) and it was a new thing for general public in Pakistan and when Zia ul Haq was asked a question about it - he amusingly replied something like this - This is the first one (blast), many many more are to come

At least his above prediction (based on correlation with how he was playing with NLC aka Narcotics Logistics Cell and Arms smuggling which got Time to report in 1986 re richest Generals in the World which included Gen. Akhtar Abdur Rehman, Gen fazle Haq, and Air Marshall Anwar Shamim to name a few) proved to be 100% correct.

Zia was the first to bring MQM in Pakistan and than he started the famous kashkol idea of asking money to USA for its dirty work
