Hangzhou of China selected to host 2022 Asian Games

Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang Province in east China, was chosen by the Olympic Council of Asia (‪#‎OCA‬) to host the 2022 Asian Games on Wednesday.

The OCA made the decision at its 34th Congress in Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan.

Hangzhou was the only candidate city for the 2022 Asian Games.

If there is no country bidding for hosting the Games, China is just one phone call away from giving our help to OCA because not only we are a staunch supporter of the development of Sports but also we are one of very few countries in Asia or even in the world which are capable of getting an Olympic-sized event up and running within the shortest of notice.

So Hangzhou, please spend wisely according to budget and look for sustainabilty of the utilities of the infrastructures.
Keep Hangzhou as one of the best quality scenic cities of China.

Yes, this is a dream city. You know, loads of Chinese dream is not dwelling in Beijing, Shanghai, we want to live there. I have a college mate living there, so I had one chance touring there freely 3 years ago.

Some infrastructure is fine, but often lavish infrastructure is built that finds no use.

Like the water Cube built during Olympics. It found no use for a long time, and that was Bejing.

Tell me, what use will you find of a dedicated archery venue of highest quality? The national team would already be training in Beijing, it has to be used by local people.

Similarly there was a rowing venue built for Olympics, which literally sits idle today.
