Indians hard at work to derail this thread
Ghareeb Rozi Roti kamate hue in this thread*

It seems we are finally going to have a capable indigenous MRAP, and not some up-armored Toyota.
Hold your horses for just a little longer, and we’ll know for sure. Last I heard it was still in trials. Could be the situation has changed now.

Electric fire is particularly difficult to put off. Requires special equipment.
There are incidents where Tesla burned for couple of days cause battery catching fire

They wanna send this to war?
The fire is less of an issue and can be mitigated through battery chemistry...
...for example u can check out the testing videos of blade battery(some Chinese company I can't recall the name of). The biggest problem with EVs in military use is their slow charging time(compared to ICE vehicles).
...additionally fuel could be carried/transported...same is not the case for EVs...so unless military formations using EVs can just happen to find charging stations from one battlefield to the next...I would say the chances of EVs showing up in any serious scale in the military are slim... especially in case of India/Pak.

Now coming to topic...can someone post some details along with pics of this MRAP that Pak Army is supposedly acquiring?

Current battery technology allows a 80% charge in 30 minutes. battery technology is not static, its fast moving Pravaig's current effort over 450 kms range

Fuel can be converted to electricity easily with a generator. Pakistan and Indians are familiar with these. Generators are getting miniaturised enough to be carried in a backpack.

Battery swapping is another option where swapped battery can be charged at a field fuel depot. All autonomous military like the boston dynamics effort are all electric.
