What's new

Hamza 6x6 is being procured by the Pakistan Army.

Current battery technology allows a 80% charge in 30 minutes. battery technology is not static, its fast moving Pravaig's current effort over 450 kms range

Fuel can be converted to electricity easily with a generator. Pakistan and Indians are familiar with these. Generators are getting miniaturised enough to be carried in a backpack.

Battery swapping is another option where swapped battery can be charged at a field fuel depot. All autonomous military like the boston dynamics effort are all electric.
U r just arguing for the sake of argument. I own a Tesla(bought a couple months back) so yes I'm very familiar with the 30min quick charge. That quick charging speed only provides the initial juice at a fast pace...but it slows down rapidly above 50% charge. The R&D is ongoing with EVs(in military spheres too) but the reality is that for military applications it is far from ready to be implemented at current tech levels. If it still hasn't been adopted by western countries at the forefront of tech...India/Pak are obviously way down the list...

...as for the solutions u proposed...using gasoline to power a generator to charge EVs...it's simply a dumb idea as u would be far better off to just use that gasoline directly in an ICE vehicle. Why go through the extra inefficient step to convert gasoline into electricity and use that to charge an EV? U r going to lose energy and spend more time.
...the battery swap method is doable for civilian purposes. Tesla proposed it...but then stopped following through. For military purposes...it's too bulky and cumbersome to be practical.

EVs definitely have their advantages...but as things stand they are not suited for a battlefield environment just yet...so stop derailing this thread.

HAMZA Overall design is very bad I think Pak should bought some turk 6x6 rather than these ugly machines
