Hamas armed wing counter-attack on Israeli military post filmed

Here you can see, the mighty IDF which is bombing civilian targets from the air. Killing over a 1,000 civilians in this recent bloody Israeli campaign. However, they thought they would get out of this free like they always do.
Not this time, Palestinian military factions have killed at least 53 IDF and more will be cleared for publication in coming hours.

Here you can see, a squad of Hamas fighters(5-8), do a counter attack against an Israeli military post. Face to face, the IDF loses. Israel admitted 5 KIA. At 1:29 they try capturing an Israeli soldier but just take his rifle. The guy was already dying from bullet wounds. You can see the mighty IDF crying like little girls. But, all the Palestinian fighters seem very calm.

Bad ***,.. POWER TO FALESTINE...

@500

I was wondering about this for some time now.

When I read Israeli papers and see the soldiers' who died...they are like 20, 21, 18 etc. Isn't it bad?

In Pakistan, at this age, we don't have soldiers. We have "cadets"..."cadets" who are being GRILLED in premiere military academies of Pakistan. Cadets who have to run 8 miles every day..Cadets are being thoroughly trained in soldering, discipline, and organization. They have NO career besides being soldiers.

After years of such training..these young guys become soldiers and serve in army for decades to come.

In Israel..any tom dick and harry does 3 years of mandatory military service after highschool and is labelled as "reserve soldier" ...and then these "soldiers" go on to join arts, computer centers, sports, and other fields.

How would Israeli soldiers/reserves face off an enemy that is comprised of soldiers who have seen nothing but military training/war in their life?

They pretty much all looked scared. Mass overwhelming firepower has made them complacent, and the bottom line is that conscript armies are just not that great. Like it or not their army back in 48, 67 and even 73 had many veterans of the Second World War, battle hardened and far more experienced than their Arab counterparts. Over the years this pool has shrunk, and even with the guys who fought in the previous wars, there hasn't been that "handing over the baton" thing, where career soldiers pass on what they know to other career soldiers. Their path is warfare and their life is devoted to it.

There is actually a great article written by IDF veterans on this topic. I'll try finding it.

They should watch this clip from 300 again.

Please find it. I want to read it too

Israel has already killed 100 Palestinians in response to this raid.
What ever you say.. Israel is determined to keep kill ratio 20:1.

In the end these type of attacks, do more damage to Palestinians than Israelis.

The ratio is 25-30 to 1.

20:1 is too generous for a barbaric regime like Israel.

@levina is not to going speak much. She has forgotten her history and now she is having a soft corner for ervery muslim even though they are terrorists Humanity sounds good but where was the humanity when we saw 10 of yeas in violence in Punjab because of a muslim country, when one of other state fighting with the same ideology from last 3 decades. How many kid/women/man died ? In other countries they value their citizen life unlike ours. IIf Hamas will fire rockets on their nuclear reactors or residential area then it is the only way IDF will screw them up.

Sorry you're mistaken!!!
Religion is the last thing that comes to my mind. And I have not forgotten my history.
Good and bad ppl exist in every religion like the 2 sides of a coin and so I dont pull sweeping statements on any religion.

lol these indians love dick riding the israelis. Anyway, how did those jewish idiots not notice a hole like 50 feet from their base? I used to think the idf was invincible, but now they're just a joke.

Don't mind that darkie, he's just mad he doesn't have a toilet in his house and has to handle his buisness outside.

People tend to volunteer and are recruited into any military after secondary education. Basic training usually lasts around 26 weeks and advanced training or other corps specific training takes a further few months. All in all you should have a fully trained infantryman or soldier under their respective cap badge in a year, much the same age as some being conscripted.

I'm sure you mean officer cadets, the Pakistani army recruits people from age 16 onward into all of its arms. The IDF also has a rigorous program to develop regular officers and reserve officers. Israel has an active force of 180 thousand and has a reserve force of 400 thousand, Pakistan also has a reserve force of near half a million.

That's a one sided view of what a reserve force can provide. Reserve soldiers and officers bring their civilian expertise with them, that means doctors, engineers, lawyers, builders, plumbers, electricians, construction managers, IT specialists, and a variety of other professions that may be invaluable to the success of an armed forces. Connections with the military do not end after the period of conscription, reserves are always called up to receive further training or for operations.

Reserves should not be looked at as a different army than the regular one, they are there to complement that force, often (or always) working closely with regular units. Although they may not showcase the same skills and drills that a regular might have they will certainly be competant enough to face another force (if trained properly).

This comes from a Reservist.

How come Israelis are the only ones barbaric here?

Palestinians have fired about 2500 rockets on Israeli civilians, their inability to kill Israeli civilians is not due to their lack of trying.

You're a british army reservist?

Once again. The only people condemning the Palestinians for responding to Israeli aggression/mass murder of civilians are Indians.
I don't want to waste my time and respond to them. I want you people to tell these people to get their noses out of this. You wonder why I always call out Indians in some threads.

Indians (generally speaking) have been at the receiving end of islamic terrorism for long. It's islamophobia generated from such incidents that can be attributed for our (again generally speaking) support to Israel. ( I on the other hand support the Palestine cause, instead ). Hazzy - I am sure you too have seen enough zionist terrorism that must have shaped how you think about Jews whether he/she be an IDF personnel or an average civilian, whether he/she be an Israeli citizen or an Indian Jew. Isn't it?

Anyway, as an Indian and a human I believe it's the terrorists (Islam or Jew or Hindu whatever..) we should be against and in no way I consider Palestinians terrorists.

Palestinians have fired about 2500 rockets on Israeli civilians, their inability to kill Israeli civilians is not due to their lack of trying.

Palestinians are firing at their colonizers.

That's the prime difference. PS, home-made pipes of Palestinians are nothing but rather a symbolic gesture of resistance.

Do you know before Iron Dome, 8000 "rockets" were fired at Israel from 1998 to 2007-08...

Do you know how many people were killed? 30.

When 8000 rockets kill 30 people, then it is a symbolic "fight" from a defense-less colonized people.

Nobody is justifying Israeli civilian deaths here...but the basic common sense dictates that when you colonize a people--violence is bound to happen. And the primary responsibility of that violence in on the colonizer...NOT the colonized resisting their colonial oppression.

Boy, war is rough.

All of this just needs to stop. Complete waste of time.

It's only when you see close live murdering, instead of just a number you understand how terrible this whole thing is.

I'll say this, this doesn't really strike fear into the people it matters, I don't think the Israeli or any country's general looks at a few casualties and think damn, better leave, even Americans.

Palestine should instead look to peace, if history is any indication, time is the only certainty. Palestine, Arab world, cannot defeat Israel, that's just a fact right now. The Jewish people started with nothing and built one of the world's top armies, now Arabs needs to do the same.

Just doing these raids might work, but the cost is really really high.

Now if there is no other choice, Israel won't maintain status quo or would go too far, like taking everything instantly, I guess this is the only solution.

Anyone can hold a gun and even die for a cause, but it takes real courage to plan for the future. Can Arab world just focus on building up strength and take the humiliation? Don't know.

BTW, not an expert, just my 2 cents.
