While thePakistani population is high but it is within certain range. For instance USA is 300 million. Indonesia, Brazil, Russia are in similiar category. But India is in stratosphere. In a league that only China can match and on way to be numer uno.

Since your Hindu and we both can agree that some humans are created more equal then others. Which is why your great civilization birthed the idea of have castes with no miscegnation to prevent blood be spoiled leading to the incredible caste system in India.

The problem you have is you have way too much lower order varnas and way too less upper order varnas. That is not good. The 1.4 billion might not be bad if it was all of noble stock but lets face it. Most of the billion is lower order varnas and you even have millions of pure sub-stock. Don't get offended. I am just playing on as 'Hindu' here.

To be sure in Pakistan we have also lower order varnas. But by grace of Allah thanks to durand Line and Jinnah our noble stock forms a good chunk of the % of the population. To put it bluntly and again as a 'honourable Hindu' Pakistan has a population with higher % of noble stock whereas India has higher % of lower order varnas. Apply that % on 1.4 billion and the results are depressing to any self respecting Brahmin.

And the greatest increase in Pakistan's population will be amongst the noble % over the next few decades but in India this is reverse. The lower order varnas will explode into even higher numbers. And I reiterate. Don't be offended. I took inspiration from Hinduism.

The Hindu caste system is actually not based on birth but on skill (at least in its original form) and what you see today is a corruption of the original principals of the system by one segment for political and economic gains.
You as a Muslim (a progressive one from your thoughts) should be able to relate with regards to what Islam started out with and what it has become to be know for today due to the similar corruption in the interpretation of Islam and it’s principles.
So yes, not all humans are born with equal skill sets would be the right term for me as a Hindu. Birth into a “noble stock” alone is not a qualifier for success.

Are you implying that the noble stock has “better genes and higher IQ” and hence will do better in life?
Or that they just have better access to resources due to a historical advantage and hence will have a better chance at success?

They have not. But what is most impressive is how fast they are improving. I don't mean razzle dazzle, Mumbai skyscrapers, Bolly millionaires, Mars bars, biggest statue etc that Indians seem to focus on when the mass is living in ribcage poverty. The Banglas are actually uplifting thier poorest which despite my instinctive prejudice against these 'low lying swamp people' is most impressive and deserves recognition. In a sense it qualifies their departure from the Muslim citadel in 1971.

Yes...about the same (give a cpl years lag in MPI data between the two) but BD better overall I would say. We will see more as more MPI reports come out through the years to come.

One can for example check the infant mortality, child nutrition etc of the two countries that helps say health indices in MPI versus just going on purely income. i.e MPI looks at that broader income deployment+efficiency....rather than treat the amount/threshold % itself as be all end all.

This is a fun topic. I know many Christian circles call the rest of Christians as 'fake' or 'apostates' or 'atheists' because they don't follow their 'brand' of Christianity. Does it works the same in Muslims too?

we should also look into the availability of hospitals, schools etc in south Asian countries
income is useless if someone cant affords basic necessities.
