Some more details of the targeted specifications for the TEDBF
-Combat range of 400 NM (very similar to the Super Hornet)
-Endurance of 2 hours for CAP missions
-Similar concept as the Rafale and the ADA Project Director admitted that it looks like the Rafale, but all of the design is Indian. The wing sweeps, the canards, the DSI intakes, etc.
- Wing fold is present unlike the Rafale, due to stowage restrictions on board INS Vikramadity and INS Vikrant
Current Status: Preliminary Design Review Complete, Critical Design Review Going On, to be completed by the end of 2024 or early 2025Don‘t we already have a separate dedicated thread on the TEDBF and even more, can anyone explain to me what‘s its current status is: A fully sanctioned and founded project like the Tejas Mk, 2 and the AMCA or an internet study for?
Thanks
