Your not doing it right. There is no right to use tanks against a civilian unrest when they are Pakistanis. NATO doesn't care because these are NOT their country men, that can object and bring them to court.
Heres the deal, why does the TTP have bunkers? How did they get bunkers?
If they have trenched positions and they are defending these positions with AK-47s and RPGs then why not surrond the trenches and starve them of ammunition and food?
Obviously you PA is not performed COIN, they are doing LIC just like NATO. Dropping bombs from the sky is not going to solve your TTP problem. The problem was created in the 70's when you created Taliban for use against Afghanistan and gave them authority instead of enforcing law and order west of the Indus river!
You can kill TTP but this like I said is a law and order issue, you'll have to fight this war economically over the long term by providing prosperity. If your dropping PGMs and hellfire drones, your not taking into account civilians.
