The reason for such failure is that Pakistan is not run by leaders but run by its hatred.. They have been hitting their own toes with Axe through out its existence but yet to learn a lesson.. Hatred can give them more Hafeez Saeed's but not better future..

i think you're exaggerating the extent of the power he holds......can he command a crowd? Sure he can, look at his supporters. Most of them are in rural and harder to reach areas of the country. Actually he isn't much different from some of the feudal politicians in the country. He relies on their ignorance, emotions and miseries to gain strength.

i dont think all those who support JuD or who admire in whatever way HS and the likes of him.....remember these guys have done charity work as well. You guys and all of us are living fairly comfortably with a roof over our heads. Dont forget that there are poor people too, they are more easily guided or misguided.

of course on issue of Kashmir, this is india's main issue of contention.....HS himself has denied involvement in 26/11. So either he's lying or he's denying. The onus is on those wishing to file charges against him to provide the the damning evidence or the smoking gun


i think forummers here should put to rest this false notion that today ISI or Pak-Mil has anything to do with JuD. It's a ridiculous and unsubstantiated rumour

if JuD was active in armed jihad in Kashmir, then why is militancy down twenty-fold -- save for the stone-throwing Kashmiris who are upset about AFSPA and the hardships of daily occupation

Im not saying anything I see the news as it comes just like you, it was a western media paper that reported there was a link between Al Qaeda and HS but that was based on US intel.

2. About Kamasutra, it is one of the scientific source for education on sexual positions. This actually tells people were open minded and open to learning new things. I think that is much better than learning how to explode bombs/ cut innocent's throats in the name of Jihad as it wass being taught in the likes Lal Masjids in Pakistan..

3. Your whole country is supporting extremism when you support terrorists like HS and provide shelter to OBL. Your MP kidnap Hindu girls and forcefully convert them.. That is anothee example of extremism for you..

i dont know who said it, but i wouldnt endorse that statement simply because ''teaching lessons'' on soft targets sounds like a dangerous and unfeasible approach to the subject and gives Pakistan (or Pakistanis) a tarnished name which no patriotic Pakistani would want.

i was quite vocal in my condemnation during and immediately after the 26/11 terrorist attacks as well, let that be known...my heart goes out to the victims' families in Mumbai as much as they go out to victims in Kashmir who face daily difficulties and hardships as a direct result of AFSPA and other iron-fist measures that have suppressed them for so long.

as for HS inner our outer or perpendicular circles -- sure some of them are hate-inciting bigots who have hardly even received a formal education (HS actually does come from a reasonably well-educated background, interestingly enough).

look at what HS is a product of


--he witnessed 36 members of his family being murdered by individuals today living freely in india...anyone who lived around the time of partition had similar stories....he was no exception.

-- he received much largesse from the americans when he was working for maktab al khidmaat; in those days the focus was against the soviets....Kashmir issue existed but was on back-burner (similar to what it seems to be today -- given the lack of vision of our leaders)......emboldened by the victory against the soviets, it is indeed true that some of the forces were re-routed against indian security establishment 'interests' in occupied J&K.



this was never an issue of contention for the US until relatively recently, as US-Pak ties have slowly nose-dived





once again --> provide proof of HS involvement in terrorist activity; the terrorism charges are what have landed the bounty on him


what i find perplexing is that the Americans put this bounty (as per their official claim) in the interests of securing proof that would lead to a conviction......it's almost as if they are saying ''we dont have the proof.....but just come up with something and we'll pay you for it''

in principle, i actually do agree

however, you are very emotional and sadly mistaken if you think that all there is in Pakistan are ''exploding bombs'' factories and cutting throats in name of jihad.......as for lal masjids -- well you already saw what happened the last time terrorists and zealots brought weapons into a sacred place....the sanctity of the mosque was violated, Pakistani authorities acted.....a bit later than they ought to have, but then again a trigger-happy approach was the least desirable option on the table.
