Peshawar: Jamat-ut-Dawa chiefHafiz Saeedhas spewed venom again. Continuing with the practice of spouting vitriolic comments directed against India, the chief of the outlawed group JuD has calledIndiaas 'number one enemy' of Pakistan, reports said Monday.
Speaking at a rally in Peshawar, the JuD chief has threatened that India is Pakistan's number one target and urged intensify jihad against India.
Saeed's comments come just a couple of days after he openly admitted that his organisation helps the Pakistan Army in supporting Kashmiris by waging jihad against India.
Speaking in an interview to Channel 24, he said, “We support Pakistan, Pakistan government and Pakistan Army in their effort to help the people of Kashmir who don't have freedom. And we call it jihad”.
Saeed is known for making provocative and controversial remarks aimed at spreading anti-India sentiments and instigating terror and violence.
Saeed, has in past often accused India of planning attacks in Pakistan. Last year, Saeed also blamed India for Peshawar school attack that saw more than 150 being killed in a massacre, the responsibility for which was claimed by the Taliban. Last year, Twitter suspended his account as most of his tweets were provocative and terror-instigating.
Hafiz Saeed also has a bounty of $10 million imposed on his head by the US.
