Correction bro. Like you I also think that Mushraf did one of the biggest blunder by forming alliance with USA. But why did he do so ? To make a fortune or for the benefit of Pakistan? There is a huge difference. Leaders are humans and they do make mistakes but you cant punish them for mistake under treason case.

No one knows the outcome had Musharaf take another decision. But assume he had shown a middle finger to USA and before attacking Afghanistan had they attacked us, what would have been your opinion ?

So at the moment we are releasing people who knowingly willingly damaged Pakistan for making fortunes but on the other hand you are punishing a person with death sentence who took a wrong decision for the benefit of Pakistan. As far as I remember the emergency was implemented as Iftikhar Chaudhry was trying to let go the lal masjid terrorists. We did not know at that point of time who is right but what we know now?

1. Iftikhar Chaudhry was a power hungry man and it was a personnel tussle for him. Proved from various account specially when it comes to case of his kid and Malik Riaz.
2. Lal Masjid guys did have guns and were acting like terrorist.
3. We did get free of terrorism by military actions.
4. All of this being done is not benefit of common man as it has nothing to do with the shitty judges, shitty law, shitty lawyers and shitty justice system. It is just about power struggle between politicians, armed forces and judges.

I feel that Musharaf should be punished for going over and above the authoirty he have but a death penalty means no one in the future will do the right thing even if it means saving Pakistan. What next, will you give him death penalty too in Akbar Bugti case ? So what do you think after such disgrace will any intelligence guy would risk his life just to expose the crooked judges, politicians and civil servants?

We have to look at the broder picture. We should celebrate the court action when they limit the retirement period of armed forces but here they are doing a disservice to the nation. We need to understand this.

Yes , he deserves punishment . But most of your views are based on individual speculation and might not be factual . Death penalty is extreme .

Have you looked at death troll of Iran Syria and Afghanistan? Did he entered into war on terror for his own benefit or for the benefit of people of Pakistan? If received the dollars then did he purchased mills out of those dollars or some villa on US of spent them on us? There is a huge difference.

On MQM, yes he supported them but who voted them? Isnt us the people who voted them? Do you think ANP supported by NS and PPP. Layari gang war criminals supported by PPP are not terrorist? Infact Musharaf era was one of the most peaceful era of Karachi (except for Iftikhar Chaudhry) incident. All the crimes started in Karachi after Musharaf was thrown away from the power. MQM entered into main stream politics just like MQM Pakistan as they were allowed to represent the votes they get. ANyways thats a separate discussion.
