mqm had terrorist groups when musharaf was in power,they used to take vote from people on gunpoint ,if anyone not give them vote they kill them so it is not fault of public,everyone know what has happened n no go areas under mqm ,during musharaf they were also taking ransom and bhata money from businessmen and money laundering to london was at peak but later when they were removed from power after ppp formed govt in sindh they started target killing as revenge so they only remain peaceful as far as they are given govt and public remains their slaves otherwise they start their terrorist activities ,musharaf did nothing better to economy,he failed to build dams and cheap sources for electricity generation and exploration of new oil reserves that is why gas and electricity crises started near end of his tenure,he failed to develop export based economy and industrialization and only promoted import based economy, there was no terrorism before he started operation in tribal areas and there were no Syria like conditions in Pakistan,infact he created such conditions by starting unnecessary attacks on people of tribal areas

Have you looked at death troll of Iran Syria and Afghanistan? Did he entered into war on terror for his own benefit or for the benefit of people of Pakistan? If received the dollars then did he purchased mills out of those dollars or some villa on US of spent them on us? There is a huge difference.

On MQM, yes he supported them but who voted them? Isnt us the people who voted them? Do you think ANP supported by NS and PPP. Layari gang war criminals supported by PPP are not terrorist? Infact Musharaf era was one of the most peaceful era of Karachi (except for Iftikhar Chaudhry) incident. All the crimes started in Karachi after Musharaf was thrown away from the power. MQM entered into main stream politics just like MQM Pakistan as they were allowed to represent the votes they get. ANyways thats a separate discussion.

ok i know nothing but all reports like buldia factory massive killing and other crimes of mqm are fake according to you,karachi is not limited to b area bufferzone only ,mqm used to smuggle illegal arms from karachi port containers when they were controlling this area which resulted in huge reserves of weapons which are banned and are only used by army ,why they need such powerful weapons as they are not needed for personal security and only needed to fight army or state security forces

Ohh my God. A little recap of our discussion. We were discussing Musharaf and not MQM. I never said MQM is not terrorist. My claim was Karachi was much better during Mushraf erra and excluding one terrorist inceidnt during Iftikhar Chaudhry the law and order situation was much better during MUSHARAF tenure.

My claim is right that you know nothing about Karachi.

MQM was involved in terrorism activities in 90s but Musharaf brought them into mainstream politics, forced them to abandon voilent activities and that worked for Karachi well. Record development activities took during Mushraf by Mustafa Kamal. This was a successful story as locals of Karachi were given power to work for locals. All other parties got wipped out during this era and MQM got very popular.

THen comes to Zardari era where he supplied weapons and ammunition to Liyari gang war people and ANP. On the other hand he also allowed MQM to bring all the weapons into Karachi to fight. PPP intentionally planned a civil war in Karachi in complete sync with Altaf Hussain. Do you really think that MQM was importing arms and ammunitions and SIndh and Federal government did not knew? They always knew, infact Karachi was divided in three criminal gangs, one was Liyari ganag war, other was ANP and the third was MQM.

So lets come to the original question. Is Musharaf responsible for terrorism in Karachi by MQM? No, in his tenure he successfully reversed the situation in 90s but unfortunately, PPP and Altaf did it again.

By the way areas in which MQM supporters of Musharaf era are living constitutes 75% of Karachi. However, the current support of MQM is very limited.
